Ana buffs, Malthael buffs, Lunara buffs, Imperius… changes? Not sure I like what they did to him. It seems they want him to stay in the offlane, but never have mana.
- Reduced maximum party size for Master and Grand Master players to 2.
Probably done so people can get into games faster. A full party of GM’s and masters takes too long to find i guess.
It may be to discourage boosting or win trading.

I assume this means that you can now buff Leaping Strike to have 30% increased range and apply two stacks of her passive. That range buff is kind of insane, no?

For Ana i´m still in favour of rearranging her talents, having all Sleepdart and Grenade talents on the first three levels is pretty boring. Otherwise those changes sound interesting.
Lunara´s changes are all irrelevant except the lvl 20 ones, im actually reinstalling the PTR to see how those go.
The changes to Malthael are interesting, as fast and free jumping around and infinite duration while 2+ heroes are in it sounds crazy. Would still be nice if they came off the idea of making him a laner and focused on tank-melting …

they should completely remove stacking in master and gm. I see every day master and gm ppl duo q with diamond to stay high on points, it s not only disgusting but unfair. unnecessarily so.
also where are the probius’ 3 pylons baseline on 20? and where the movement while in siege for hammer at 7/10 baseline? instead we give healing to the already busted genji that is played all of the time in competitive and not, sure.
The Splintered Spear change is a huge quality-of-life buff that prevents you from wasting the effect. Not strictly a power buff, but certainly a usability one.
Tested it on the PTR and both range increase and two stacks apply, increased sight is always nice. Not sure how this will play out though.
I really like the new vines upgrade as vines can hit the same target multiple times and cover a pretty substantial area.

And Malthael gets another meme lvl 20 that’s good in theory, and some buff to a bad quest timer that was bad anyway, while Imperius (who was good already) gets buffs across the board.
At least we’ll have viable vampiric touch ana. Jokes aside, ana was way too much effort for what she was bringing, against anduin, rehgar, brightwing and maybe some others. Glad she got some solid basekit buffs.
The CDR for Ana is cummulative btw, so it´s 5 seconds less i only Ana is hit, stacks with the decrease on lvl 4 too.
Ana changes are better than nothing I suppose. It was kind of amazing how she’d been untouched for so long after they started doing minor balance tweaks again.
I particularly like the Deadeye change. I always hated that Eye of Horus forces you to just waste all your shots if you don’t want to fire anymore. But as a level 20 talent, that QOL change probably won’t really affect her effectiveness in many games.
Ultimately though, the changes don’t really fundamentally change the clunkiness of how she plays which is really tied to her aim down sights mechanic and the way some of her talents require shrike stacks for interaction which is tied to her needing to AA–something that is just hard to do if your movement speed is penalized.
Was really hoping they’d reduce the CD on Aim Down Sights or maybe a tiny buff on AA range while in Aim Down Sights or less movement speed penalties on talents. She’ll be able to top herself back up a bit faster in between battles, but in combat healing is still going to be annoying. I imagine in some cases when you don’t care about the antiheal portion, you’re now going to want to aim your grenade so it doesn’t hit enemies which I find a bit counterintuitive.
Nanoboosted Malthael is going to be completely disgusting.
It’ll be interesting how all the jumping around and being able to keep Tormented Souls up will work. It looks like they are picking up from where they left off in making Mathael an anti-group hero that slowly wears down the opposition.
Depending on how he fairs after those changes the janitor might tinker with his sustain and/or health as that is another area the shady angel has struggled with.

Did they really felt the need to ruin Holy Fervor on Imperius … to randomly rework Molten Armor? I’m just so done with this game, every Champ I play gets changed by a yearly patch I swear.

this is a pretty big buff for sylvanas, going to be far easier to hit bigger arrows
I really like the level 20 eye of Horus change and i think id love to see the new cooldown style baselined.
