Massive frame drop/performance issues

Hello.

I’ve been playing HOTS since HOTS 2.0 came out, and have never ran into any performance issues. However, about a month ago or so, I would have random games where the framerate would suddenly tank, from around 130 to 40-30, sometimes lower. Sometimes it would last all game, other times it would suddenly go back to normal. Some games never even had lowered frames.

It’s an issue that’s been made worse after the recent patch. I can’t go a game without the framerate tanking to 20 or lower now. I have a fairly high-end computer, and playing Overwatch at max settings at 60+ fps was not an issue.

Hey Denya,

Thanks for the DXDIAG. I’d first try updating Windows 10 to the latest version, and then update the Nvidia drivers to the latest version as well.

Go to Start → Settings → Update & Security → Check for updates

Once Windows is updated, download the Nvidia 451.48 drivers

Test the game again and see if things are any better. :slight_smile:

I am having the same issue. I have alos updated the drivers and i still get massive frame rate drops
