This is my pc setup i5 4440, 16 GB RAM, 1TB HD, GTX 750 Ti.
During the matches I have an good performance, with my fps above 100, however, during a teamfight or when more than 4 heroes are at the same time on my screen, i have massive fps drop, however, too this is not constant and not happen every match. On my last quick match, I “lost” the game after I was disconnected in the MVP screen, and my quest progression didn’t count on that match because of that…
I am having the same issue. I’ve noticed that it started occurring when the new hero came out (1-2 patches ago?) and it’s the same every time.
- apps, programs, software, etc turned off (except bnet app)
- not map specific
- only in team fights with 3+
- can trigger If I am in the fight, in close proximity of fight, or if team is fighting and I am removed from the fight (ie I die/respawn or move to another lane)
my setup is similar. i5 7600k, 16gb ram, 2TB HDD, evga 1050 ti FTW… game set to max settings. Runs butter smooth.
The MVP screen is considered still in the match. So if you disconnect while on the MVP screen you actually can get penalized by the system. Its pretty unfair and its a source of even more hate toward the MVP screen, but that is how it works.
In fact if you want to see this proven some time go watch a replay! At the very end of your replay is the MVP screen.
As far as your FPS there really shouldnt be a reason to get an FPS drop. Make sure it is FPS that is really the issue here though and not your latency (ping). large team fights can cause your ping to go up too.
If your FPS really is what is the issue though then try turning down your graphics to medium or something. Also try different drivers. The newest drivers are not always the best drivers.
try these, i see that the 400 drivers are a problem for some ppl atm with stutter at other things.

what you will want to do is go download DDU and uninstall your current driver. then run DDU in safemode to remove all the driver remnants. then install the driver you downloaded.

additionally make sure you fully update windows since that is a good idea always.
then if its working good/not working good post about it so ppl might be able to help you with more troubleshooting.
i suggest the same thing to start with and the same driver versions work for you too.
