In my headcannon I like to imagine that all the wacky skins players wear represent alternate versions of heroes from different dimensions (which would also explain why mirror matchups can happen). As I stewed on the matter I wondered if perhaps certain heroes might actually be slightly different variations of one another just from different dimensions.
For example Valla and Valeera might be the same person across different dimensions since they both like red, are nimble fighters, and have a V in their name.
What heroes do you think are actually the same character but from different dimensions? You may interpret the question in the title however you wish, just list two heroes you think go well together!
Butcher and Abathur, they’re both voiced by the same voice actor

In my mind Uther is godfather to Anduin.
Li Li and Chen.
She felt in the cursed spring of the drowned Panda and turns into Chen every time she gets in contact with cold water.

My take is Johanna and Uther are brother and sister under the skin. Both are “stunning” guided by the light and justice. They also look a bit alike.

(Also the Official HotS Comics prove that there are multiple versions of the same Hero, for example, base Alexstrasze and “necromancer” Alexstrasza fought against each other in the war between the RavenLord and the Lady of Thorns.)

The only reason I know what you’re referencing is because the video game was featured in a video game magazine with a snippet of the first few pages of the manga. Games trash by the way.
