Hello everyone. Recently, a friend of mine noticed something really funny.
As many of you may know, Blizzard announced BlizzCon, and even though it may not seem directly related, the way the trailer was made led people to comment about a possible release of HOTS 3.0.
Even if you don’t believe in that theory, I’m calling on everyone to comment anything about HOTS. I went down the page liking every HOTS related comment, and I also commented about it.
The goal isn’t necessarily to believe that the video is about HOTS 3.0, but rather to get the attention of the company. Spread the word to everyone you know, let’s make some noise.

I posted about this very topic back in March where I theories have been discussed. IMHO I think we have a Hots 3.0 currently in development. Some will disagree, but there is quite a bit of evidence that something is in the works.
I was excited at first but then remembered that Blizzard and Microsoft have been mishandling their IPs for years.
With Blizzard Diablo IV is kinda meh, but is also favored more so than Overwatch last time that I had checked in that game.
World of Warcraft is just an ongoing dumpster fire. About the time the flames look like they are about to go out and things be looking even remotely favorable they just throw in more garbage, dump gas on it, and then hit it with a blow torch.
My biggest concern is HotS gets the Overwatch treatment in that they “upgrade” the game into Heroes of the Storm 2 but with way more negatives than positives.
I understand the concern that Microsoft might end up updating the game for the worse, and I can’t really think of an example to argue otherwise.
However, here’s how I see it: if the company doesn’t see engagement in a game, they might believe it’s no longer worth spending resources on the servers and just shut everything down at once. That’s why I take every opportunity to draw attention to HOTS—because I’d rather read about a bad update than read that the game is being shut down for good.
Unfortunately, I can’t go to BlizzCon. Otherwise, I’d cosplay as one of the HOTS exclusive characters or bring a sign asking for attention to the game.
Personally, I want HOTS 3.0 to be 3 vs 3 (tank, healer, dps) and only 1 lane. Also every hero can switch at any point between the tank, healer or dps mode.
