Idea for Belial Lord of Lies

I know they haven’t made a new hero in a long time but with them updating the game occasionally again and even updated the suggestion and feedback post 2 weeks ago I thought I’d throw in an idea for Belial Lord of Lies who is my favorite Lesser Evil.

Trait (D)

Deceitful Presence: Belial generates a stacking debuff on enemies he damages, reducing their vision range and increasing the cooldown of their abilities by 1% per stack, up to a maximum of 15 stacks. Stacks last for 3 seconds.

Basic Abilities

Q: Illusion Strike: Belial creates an illusion of himself that charges forward, dealing damage to enemies in its path. After reaching the end of its charge, the illusion persists for 4 seconds, attacking nearby enemies for a percentage of Belial’s damage. If the illusion is destroyed, it explodes, dealing damage to nearby enemies.

W: Ensnaring Lies: Belial casts a deceptive net in a target area. Enemies caught in the net are slowed and take periodic damage over 4 seconds. If an enemy is hit by Illusion Strike while in the net, they are stunned for 1.5 seconds.

E: Shifting Shadows: Belial dashes a short distance, becoming invisible for 2 seconds and creating a decoy at his original location that mimics his actions for 3 seconds. The decoy deals no damage but can be targeted and destroyed.

Heroic Abilities (R)

R1: Lord of Lies: Belial creates multiple illusions of himself in a wide area, each illusion mirroring his actions and dealing a percentage of his damage. These illusions last for 10 seconds. Enemies within the area are confused, causing their basic attacks to have a 25% chance to miss.

R2: Mass Deception: Belial selects an area on the battlefield. All enemy heroes within the area see illusionary duplicates of all friendly and enemy heroes for 8 seconds. While in this state, enemy heroes have reduced vision range and their abilities target the illusions randomly instead of the real heroes.

Level 1

Illusion Mastery: Increases the duration of Illusion Strike’s illusion by 2 seconds and its damage by 25%.

Lingering Lies: Ensnaring Lies’ slow persists for 1 second after leaving the area.

Shadowy Figure: Shifting Shadows grants an additional 1 second of invisibility and increases movement speed by 20% while invisible.

Level 4

Deceptive Agility: Shifting Shadows reduces the cooldown of Illusion Strike by 1 second for each enemy hero hit by the decoy’s attacks.

Illusionary Attack: Illusions from Illusion Strike deal an additional 50% damage if no enemy heroes are within 5 range.

Net of Deception: Ensnaring Lies’ area is increased by 25% and enemies in the net take an additional 10% damage from all sources.

Level 7

Mirage Armor: When Belial becomes invisible, he gains a shield that absorbs damage equal to 10% of his maximum health for 2 seconds.

Lingering Doubt: Deceitful Presence stacks last an additional 1.5 seconds.

Confounding Shadows: When Shifting Shadows’ decoy is destroyed, it explodes, dealing damage and slowing enemies by 30% for 2 seconds.

Entrapping Lies: Ensnaring Lies now roots enemies for 1 second at the end of its duration.

Shadow Dash: Shifting Shadows’ dash distance is increased by 30%.

Level 16

Master of Illusions: Belial’s illusions deal an additional 20% damage and last 2 seconds longer.

False Confidence: Enemies with maximum Deceitful Presence stacks are silenced for 1 second.

Cloak of Shadows: When Belial becomes invisible, he heals for 2% of his maximum health per second for the duration.

Level 20

Lord of Deception: Lord of Lies creates two additional illusions, and their damage is increased by 50%.

Mass Confusion: Mass Deception’s duration is increased by 4 seconds, and enemy heroes have a 50% chance to miss with their basic attacks.

Master of Shadows: Shifting Shadows’ cooldown is reduced by 50%, and it grants an additional charge.

Final Deceit: Deceitful Presence stacks now reduce enemy damage dealt by 1% per stack.
