They do Leaderboard reset every now an then and ban some bot accounts, but they always return like cockroaches.
I remember an account in KR with Lvl 6-7k and playing mostly Tyrael in QM, was a pretty decent player too. Ran into the dude 3 times. I checked his profile before and he plays a lot of Tyrael (ofc), Sgt. Hammer, and Zeratul. The rest were high level too, a lot being lvl 70~80+
If he were still playing now, heād be in 9k account lvl too.
must be some l33t hax
Hey Skully, long time no see, hope youāre doing great!
Hello, Minky! Iām okay, just busy. Hope youāre doing great as well ^^
Played a few games with them tonight.
Iām posting an update, in case there was any doubt/curiosity about this personās dedication to HotS.
Have a nice night, folks!
At least now I know account levels can go over 10,000!
Isnāt it self-explained, when heroes can reach 999 and we have 90 heroes in the game? I have someone in my friendlist, who has level 999 on Tyrael, it was pretty impressive. I feel myself pretty casual considering my highest level hero is D.Va with Lv. 73 followed by Johanna, lv. 62.
First I thought you could know the same person as me, but then I realized itās an acc in KR, not EU.
Wonder if they are gold in rank
Itās possible they could even be Bronze. I saw a level 2500 account that was Bronze, but so what? Many people arenāt competitive and donāt even attempt to improve, it is at the end of the day, simply a game, not a job.
Its a pvp game. I get it if you are playing zelda or something sure. PVP is competitive. You are not playing against other people to lose. If you are then you are a part of this games problem.
Itās not a problem in ranked though, as most often they are matched with other Bronze people. Itās only a problem in QM because of the Matchmaking that mixes all ranks together in an MMR averaged blender. Thatās still not the fault of the Bronze player.
Iāve played a lot of HoTS and my level doesnāt even hold a flame to most people. Always makes me wonder if some of the accounts are legit.
Actually it is a problem in ranked. I have seen tons of afks and trolls. Another popular thing is people picking heroes they are level 1 one with and not understanding how to build the hero.
This is in diamond btw.
It shouldnāt be though. If you arenāt Bronze, itās rare for you to be in ranked and be matched with someone who is Bronze. I agree about the hero level thing, it was a mistake removing the level 5 restriction, but I think they did it to encourage people to play ranked to reduce queue times.
Iām in Plat and am sometimes playing with and against Diamond, so yes I believe you. You can never stop the AFK people, sometimes it isnāt deliberate. People will also always tilt and troll, but I donāt think it happens as often in your rank/Master/GM than it would at Bronze.
Oh I highly agree. It should not be a problem at all and yet I think its the biggest problem in this game.
Matching is terrible, the bronze 5 problem is its own topic, Smurfing makes it even worse (guilty cause ive done it due to boredom)
I get it. Ive been matched against golds with diamonds clearly knowing its a premade. Its why I do not heal or tank. Dps wins this game if done right
Thatās most likely a bot account, but there is a small chance it is a dev account from game alpha/beta. Iām leaning more towards bot though. The highest player account Iāve seen is in the 4000s. I have been playing a few years and Iām only the low 2000s.
They reworked leveling pretty much entirely early last year or late 2019 (I canāt remember which). Forts and keeps used to give significant flat experience and towers used to be worth more. The problem is that teams were snowballing hard and gaining 2-3 levels in early game by rushing a lane and wiping out structures, then stomping the other team in fights. It was unpleasant and made games very one-sided. Now towers reward reduced experience and forts/keeps give passive experience and summon catapults to pressure lanes. It slows the game down and makes it a bit easier to try and make a comeback, but also punishes poor laning. For some reason the community still canāt fully grasp the concept of soaking lane experience, even as Blizzard is force feeding it with glowing orbs.
āDedicationā is a funny way of saying bot. Less than 10 days and they gained 336 levels? Thatās averaging 33 levels a day. Even if theyāre gaining a level with each match, most games last about 20 minutes. Thatās 11 hours automatically. Even with brand new heroes only the first few matches level you up in one match.
What? I posted my image back in April, so it has been far more than 10 days.
