Red enemy’s possible approaches
So I’m a forced tank main max low master lowest high diamond (if im playing ranked) I play all tanks
Tip > always stay in an arms reach from your team. If you want a follow up, heals or peel for your team
I know the bush exist. But that works when the whole team is committed into anchoring. If you position in the circles you protect your team when the enemy approaches. So you can lock a position or retreat towards your teammates in order for you to peel them
Sky temple
I’m a big fan of soaking waves during objectives. The objective at sky temple is so low dmg you can put 1 or 2 max there and the rest of your team into the lane.
Just put the healer there because most of them have self sustain
The bot objective the most ideal place is either in the lane so you can push the towers or in the bush. https://gyazo.com/0c239e23111503e0e0150069b6d328ea

On volskaya you can abuse vision a lot, so your team needs to look what they need. But you also take away your own vision.
Do you need to push the lane (maybe to rush down towers, fort or fountain)
Hide behind a wall to stay hidden and creating chokes or push out the lane (look at what their tank is and if they favor chokes or your team favors it.
Soak exp to get regens or just to level up. This is the safer way

You cant cover both paths, so you need to wait at the blue circles and if they show themselves you react, by locking down one of the pathways
creating a choke for you team
If they overwhelm you, you just retreat towards your team side
Just a thing that also annoys me. On BOE, you don’t need to anchor. Drives me nuts when a tank hides in a bush somewhere while we lose immortal to a few AAs in a race.
And some of this will depend on which tank you are playing. A hidden Garrosh, Anub’arak, or Diablo (although I don’t like Dibble on Volskaya) is a major threat, while a visible JoJo or Muradin can do some work in lane while still having strong zone control. A visible Garrosh controls a much smaller area than one who could be anywhere.
Also note that on some maps, especially Braxis and Sky Temple, the tank is more valuable not on the objective if the enemy isn’t already contesting/capping it, since it is time limited and you only need one or two bodies on it. Keeping the enemy team as far from it as reasonable and getting a little extra soak in tends to be a better use of your time.
Your green circles are lovely (I like green a lot) and accurate. Where you need to stand (blue), and very important where you need to RUSH (green) if your allies need you.
So far, so good (Bryan Adams was something when I was a teen, I danced the first time with a girl I liked a lot on “Please forgive me”. Get this on your record Big Brother!!!).
I thought I was the only one to wear Li Ming’s outfits as a portait. So be careful of what things seem to be.
Sgt Hammer never was a soldier. Was he/she there on the WW II ? Was he/she there for Vietnam ? Was he/she there for the woke war in 2025 ? Nah. he/she/they weren’t.
Which is also yet another reason Tyrande is amazing for BoE. Not only can she trait the immortal for -25 armour, she can use her bird to light up the entire immortal arena so you can see what the enemy team is doing anyways.
