Hey, i have this problem, its started aprox 2 month ago after some small update of HOTS.
I can turn on the game, browse in menus, but if i want to play, game starts loading and when jumps in to the game on map, it shut down pc and need unplug PSU and connect again to be able to turn pc again. It is happening almost every time, sometimes holds like 5min of play max. Its not bcs of overheating, all temps in pc is below 60c. Battlenet reinstalled, game reinstalled, drivers of motherboard and gpu reinstaled. Still happening. I read somwhere its possibly bad PSU, but it is happening just with this game, with other is ok (Fortnite,KDC2,CS,Once human, LoL…) …and last post about this here is from 2019 not solved.
Thank you for any advice
Certainly a hardware fault of sorts and could be PSU. Can also be general CPU instability. Memory instability is unlikely as that usually results in random crashes or spontaneous reboots (not power down).
You can try lowering power limits in BIOS/UEFI for the CPU. Especially if using a modern Intel CPU, turning off their extreme turbo boost technologies can help a lot if it is a CPU stability issue. GPU can also have power limits lowered using appropriate driver tools, which could help if the issue is PSU related by loading the PSU less.
Thank you for reply, i changed PSU from Seasonic GX750 to RJK850 and problem is gone. Bad is you can not indetify the problem by some stress software.
