pls change unrank mode to quick match, this change alone solves all your problems of match making, just matching people by their mmr improves que times for new and old players, if they want to all 5 assassin it’s their problem. I can’t stress enough how your long que times turn new players away from your game, many new players people don’t want to play vsai

rename old quick match to brawl mode or something for people wanting to play the old quick match, but don’t put it as the first mode after vsai.

you want more income? easy, allow people to buy shards, or better yet get rid of shards and gems, let people buy new heroes/packs with real money and an option to purchase gold.

Also, i want to add, what of us not pity to give a money to devs if product has high-quality. I’m not against recolors but srly, new skins it important. Just a lot of skins created by Fans - just read own forum - it all what we want - conversation.

Thank you very much for the update!! Much appreciated! Nice to hear things are still moving, even if its at a slower pace.

I really like the idea of being able to buy skins/mounts/etc. with gems/gold. Shards are a very hard currency to come by. With gold/gems, it would practically open up the store for easy purchases.

Thank you again for the update! This is my favorite game by far and very happy for the news.

I am with Hots since the game release and I must say that the board game event (in my opinion) is the best and most fun one yet. The only isues with the game I have are unbalanced quick matches (like support vs no support or 3 specialists vs 3 assassins) and that the “ready” button sometimes breaks and you have to alt+F4. Besides these little things I’ve been having fun since I can remember and thank you for that developer update. After the HGC 2019 cancelation the game was filled with negativity but I trust you guys and I know you won’t pull a “Hi-Rez” on us. Merry Christmas to all developers out there <3

we are not anger, we are angry with the end of HOTS and this new position of Blizzard. Of course it’s good to know the game keeps up until now but we know the game is going to be cancelled due the lack of professionalism of Blizzard in promote the game.
All I see here are projects that were being developed for some time. But what’s coming next with less developers? WIll the game survive now that Blizzard won’t give the necessary support to bring new gamers?

Blizzard decadence started officially with the Immortal Fiasco and seem they doesn’t have the clue about what is happening or what they can and can not do atm. Announce the end of the pro league, cutting people’s job in the moment the world is looking at Blizzard watching it’s slowly death was stupid and HOTS will pay the price for that. Unfortunately.

I do hope this situation can be solved. The pro league can get back faster than got cut and more, I hope Blizzard fire the CFO that is screwing the company.

Thanks for all this info, it was needed to slow the “doom and gloom” that has set up as the general feeling in the forums and reddit.

You ask us to share with you what we would like to see in 2019. Here is what i would like to see then.

-Support for the third party and fan leagues that may rise to fill the vacuum left by HGC.
-New wacky heroes like Abathur, Lost Vikings, Cho’Gall and Murky, their bold, refreshing design is one of the defining aspects that set HOTS apart from other MOBAs. Maybe the “Core replacement” hero that has been rumoured for years? (Overmind hype!:brain::eye::brain:)
-Some Blizzard classic heroes. The Lost Vikings have been alone for too long, they need friends from blackthorne and rock and roll racing.

I really have to agree with this. The prices are REALLY steep when converting gem costs to real money. I cant justify buying cosmetics when you get a few skins and a ton of recolors for the price of a brand new game.
May i make a suggestion that once you buy a skin, all other recolours become permanently reduced in price?
Also a randomize loadout from favorites option would be great, i know its lazy but i cant be bothered swapping loadouts each game even if i want to play something different. This would give an incentive to get more than one skin per hero if you want to spice things up

I can’t be mad at heroes dev team, because you guys do your best and want best for us! But in fact i’m mad only at Blizzard for making rushed decision for canceling Heroes E-Sports because well don’t deny it.

Most attention for new people, came by watching HGC and canceling it was an seriously bad idea, but most important thing is… This may affect other titles as well? WoW got E-Sports league, Overwatch, Hearthstone and Starcraft.

But what i want mostly in HOTS 2019 is.

Better reconnect system. This is something what could be done long ago.

Second warcraft map.

For heroes… I don’t have any wishes atm. I currently waiting one year for Lost Vikings rework.

About queue time of QM. I suggest delete rule of MM for RDD and to leave only rules for tank and healers. Or to allow a people take MDD too instead of RDD.

Those are very good news, expecially the one about the queque :smiley: i hope this will bring back some hopes to those players that think hots it’s dead…i love this game and i will play it until i can :muscle:

Depending on when the PTR is to start, we might at least know the next hero by the end of December, which is nice.

I like how this event was handled. Gave high-level players still a decent chance to collect loot boxes consistently. Hope all future events follow this pattern. Having a constant string of quests forces me to play heroes I normally wouldn’t.

Fix QM match making,
Get together TL and HL queue and rank,
Clan system,
Stop silence people, your report system is broken and easily to abuse,
And our biggest dream, NEW ENGINE, Heroes of the Storm own engine, fixing reconnect and game optimization.

With all of this, Heroes will be an amazing game.

I needed to hear this, since about 2016 me and my two sons have spent many late evenings playing hots together. We (meaning I) have put a lot of money into the game and our 3 accounts, but that wasn’t the most upsetting thing with the recent announcements. The issue is, we love this game because of the good times we’ve had playing it together, sometimes laughing to the point of tears.

Wether it be my youngest barreling rolling with Chen or my oldest throwing people over the wall with Garrosh. It’s those little moments that seemed so in jeopardy with the cutting of game resources. Without new content those moments will eventually end.

I hope that this smaller team sets a new bar and standard for blizzard, showing them how the devs should become part of the community, with constant communication and feedback.

While the diablo team fails to listen to its audience, this reorganization Hots teams has a chance to really make a difference for its passionate fans.

So here’s to Wishing this community and our Hots dev team a happy holiday and a very successful 2019
