[Hero Concept] Grommash Hellscream

Hello! This is my concept for Grommash Hellscream.

Short description:
Grommash is a high damage melee bruiser that thrives in melee combat, and doesn’t walk away from a fight.

Basic Abilities

Q
Mortal Strike
25 Mana | 10 Second cooldown
Grommash’s next Basic Attack is instant and bleeds his enemy for 100% bonus damage over 5 seconds. Basic Attacks against a bleeding Hero reduces the cooldown of his basic abilities by 2 seconds.

Battle Rage
60 Mana | 16 Second cooldown
After a 1 second delay, Grommash gains 10% increased movement speed, decaying over 3 seconds and heals for 150 (4%) health for each nearby damaged Hero including Grommash, up to 60% increased movement speed and 900 (4%) health.

E
Ruthless Tackle
35 Mana | 12 Second cooldown
Grommash dashes a short distance, dealing 136 (4%) damage to enemies at his destination. Ruthless Tackle can be self-cast to instead stomp the ground, dealing 136 (4%) damage and slowing enemies hit by 60% for 2 seconds. Holds up to 2 charges.

Trait

Relentless
After moving towards enemy Heroes for more than 0.75 seconds, any roots and stuns are negated and instead slow Grommash by 70% for the duration of the effect. If Grommash is hit by a stun, he is also silenced for the duration.

Note: would have a HUD icon over Grommash’s health and mana to show the 0.75 second timer before the effect kicks in.

70 Mana | 70 Second cooldown
Grommash channels for 2 seconds, lifting Gorehowl up over his head. After channeling, for the next 5 seconds, Execute can be re-cast to swing down Gorehowl in a line, dealing 300 (4%) damage to enemies hit and additional damage to enemy Heroes hit equal to 30% of their missing health.

Warsong Raid
100 Mana | 80 Second cooldown
Only usable while mounted. Grommash raises a Warsong war banner, increasing his mounted movement speed bonus to 50% over 5 seconds and gaining 20 armor for up to 20 seconds. Also affects nearby mounted allies.

After being active for 5 seconds, Grommash and nearby allies can no longer be dismounted by damage and Grommash will drop the Warsong banner when dismounting. Once dropped, the banner lasts 10 seconds and has 500 (4%) health and grants 25% increased movement speed and 20 armor to nearby allies.

!Quest: Deal additional damage to bleeding enemy Heroes.
!Reward: After dealing damage 30 times, Mortal Strike’s bleeding damage is increased to 150% bonus damage.
!Reward: After dealing damage 60 times, Grommash gains 10% increased Basic Attack damage per bleeding enemy Hero.

Battle Rage deals 150 (4%) damage to nearby enemies and slows them by 25% for 1.25 seconds.

Quaking Might
!Quest: Hitting an enemy Hero with Ruthless Tackle increases its damage by 5, up to 100.
!Reward: After hitting 20 Heroes, the area of Ruthless Tackle is increased by 25%.

Battle Rage grants Grommash unstoppable for 1 second if Relentless has been active for more than 1.5 seconds.

When dropping below 50% health, reset the cooldown of Battle Rage.
This has a 30 second cooldown.

Unyielding Fury
Hitting an enemy Hero with Ruthless Tackle grants Grommash a 150 (4%) health shield for 3 seconds.

Mortal Strike now cleaves for 50% Basic-attack damage and bleeding damage.

Giant Slayer
Grommash’s Basic Attacks deal bonus damage to enemy Heroes equal to 1% of their maximum health, doubled against bleeding enemy Heroes.

Raze
Hitting at least 2 enemy Heroes with Ruthless Tackle allows it to be cast again for free. This free cast does not benefit from Raze.

Killing an enemy Hero with Execute grants a free cast of Execute. this cast does not require channeling.

Stampede
Warsong Raid’s mounted movement speed bonus now caps at 70% after 7 seconds. While at 70% bonus movement speed, Grommash and nearby allies deal 175 (4%) damage per second to nearby enemies while mounted. This damage does not stack.

Giant’s Blood
30 Second cooldown
Passive: Whenever Grommash is taunted, he gains 30% increased movement speed, 50% increased attack speed and 20 armor for the duration and 1.5 seconds after.
Target an enemy Hero. Grommash drinks a vessel of demonic blood, becoming enraged. Grommash is taunted for 3 seconds, prioritizing the enemy Hero.

Killing Frenzy
Casting Mortal Strike on an enemy Hero below 50% health grants Grommash 100% increased attack speed for 5 seconds.

Pretty damn good concept and is basically everything I want in what grom should be. Few things I would change is instead of a charge and tackle for his E it would be a pounce. Also I don’t like his second ult and would instead maybe trade it for his demonic form ult which would just give him a flat increase in HP and damage

i would like to see him stronger , someting like hibrid betwen butcher and CS varian , and 1 ult must be stronger this one si trash…dude he kill Manoroth one of the strongest demons , with one deadly blow. it must do at least dmg like kelthas piro blast, plus some more bonus for low health enemies…

Hmmm, I really love the concept Labreris, so far so good, Giant’s Blood seems weird.

Pretty cool concept, although a couple of issues.
1, Giant’s Blood doesn’t make too much sense. Seeing as there are, currently, only two Taunt abilities in the game.

  1. His Trait is confusing to me… After moving towards targets for 0.75 seconds; Roots and Stuns are negated. But of course you can’t actually move while Rooted or Stunned… So he becomes becomes resistant? I’m not sure.

Giant’s blood also casts a Taunt on Grommash himself, activating the buff effect. The ability having the buffs as a passive for whenever Grommash is taunted is just extra flavour.
It’s a reference to when he drinks Mannoroth’s blood, becoming bloodcrazed and more powerful.

As for his trait, if you move towards the location of a nearby visible enemy Hero, and you do that for more than 0.75 seconds, Grommash gains the effect. The effect being, stuns and roots are negated and instead slow him by 70%. (+and silence if he would be stunned).
Mind you he can still move whilst slowed by 70%, so this doesn’t interrupt the effect.
