I have been having an issue for a long time in HOTS where each game is like rolling the latency dice. One game will have 2000 ping, the next game will have 20 ping. But it’s not really accurate to just say it’s 2000 ping. Instead, it will be 2-3 seconds of low ping, very responsive gameplay, then 2-3 seconds of completely freezing, back and forth over and over, and I guess the average is 2K ping. I have had this issue across an upgrade to a brand new PC, and an upgrade to fiber internet. My connection seems fine in everything else.
It almost always happens on a per-game basis. If the game starts with the issue, it will continue through the whole game, but if it starts with no lag, it will continue with no lag through the whole game.
