Might need to call you up on this… Getting ready for EU now with some ARAM’s and it’s disconnecting every 2 minutes. :slightly_frowning_face: Can’t really play like this. 4 matches, 4 times it keeps disconnecting.

I know it’s tomorrow, but better to post it well in advance in case you’re available.
Sad, was really looking forward to it…

Let’s see if you still disconnect today.

Are you West Coast perchance?
I played on Central and I’m East-Central Europe so it should be about the same.
I had a steady 150-200ms ping, albeit some commands were really funny. The client might feel it’s borderline.
I do have the occasional disconnect (rare) / lagspike (once a day) in EU, though.

Hoping the best for you!

Would be nice if someone would stream it. Be bold and ask Khaldor!

So the time is 7:30 pm cet?

Wait no, just checked, it is 6.30PM CET.

Edit: it is however 7.30PM CEST.

But, if I remember correctly, you are from Hungary. So it is 7.30PM at Budapest local time.

I can’t resist
People randomly use GMT to have or to not have DST, so to avoid confusion, the (also country-agnostic) UTC can be used.
(Well, as long as we don’t colonise the Moon or the Mars. Then, Universal becomes a little Earth-centric and unfitting.)

It’s widespread in IT as well, especially where having DST or time zones is a major problem. Since DST is applied at local times, not to mention US having their own schedule, UTC is the way to go. Anyone using local time is asking for trouble down the line. God forbid you become a global company and have thousands of lines of code syncing times between all your servers spread in your countries.

Officially, GMT == UTC, and UK DST = BST == UTC+1 == GMT+1.

Well at the same time it is more usefull for daily life to have a local time than the time in GMT. Especially, with 12.00 “natural” time being defined as the time of the day with the longest shadow. But clearly, for something widespread in the world, time conversion is just some hassle.

And I might add to your conversion: CET = GMT+1, CEST = GMT+2.

I’m using an app called Miranda on my iPhone that lets me pick cities myself for the world time and it has the option to calculate the time.
Such like, if it’s 8 PM in Arizona which time is it then in Western Europe?
Or
The start of the tournament is 5:30 pm GMT which time is it in my country?

For everyone interested:

Great!

At the moment, the teams are

Depends also if AltRightFrog has disconnect problem today.

“Karabar”
looking at btag: Karabars

I’m always confused that is it just a common typing error or do ppl mistake my “s” for an english plural? If they do think it, I’m not a few karabars, I’m The Karabars

People are just too lazy to add “s”.

I think it is just a typo. Look at the Harbigner. But I note that he did write Sherk and not Shrek! XD

Typo - I think the same.
I used to have a name ending with an X (ideally caps but it got lost) and everyone omitted it thinking it’s decoration. Like our forum member, Entere. Always annoyed me

Sooooo, anyone streaMing?
