Files in your Heroes of the Stom installation are damaged

After the latest patch, Heroes of the Storm will not launch for me. I am getting an error window that states, “Files in your Heroes of the Storm installation are damaged.” I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but the problem persists. IS there anything that can be done to fix this?

Hey there,

Heroes of the Storm will crash on launch (with this specific error) if you have OneDrive syncing your Documents folder. To fix this problem try disabling the Documents folder sync in OneDrive Settings. This information should help:

  • Note you must unsync Documents before uninstalling OneDrive. Uninstalling the program by itself will not work.
