Um no…? Blizzard benefits from Pally but Pally benefits more from Blizzard, Blizz even sponsored him. Also just because he is more known doesn’t mean the Deathwing credit belongs to him. A lot of ppl including me wanted Deathwing for a really long time.

Wasn’t the MFPally controversy long boiled over and be done with?
I doubt that’s a concern albeit it’s who knows, really.
Rather, does anyone have information on whether MFPally goes on the Blizzcon or not? Being invited is irrelevant as far as DW showcase is concerned.
Probably be a cool gesture but as others said it could’ve been a slippery slope.
It really is, both parties that were involved looked like a joke in the end, there’s no point in opening this up and I will not go further in details.
As far as I know they gave no mention of Blizzcon it is unclear if they are going or not, maybe they will tweet about it? not sure.
To my family, Blizzcon has always been an event that is more than just video games or the company that develops and publishes them.
I think video games and technology act as a portal. It’s just like a way to do what has to be done.
It’s not like you are just going to transcontinental flight just to meet and greet at brunch. Like, we need a reason in case the Wardens are watching the Guardians.
Also, I’m very happy about the Dark Portal, its invitees and the Darkmoon Faire since Blizzcon had kind of become too crowded.
And not the kind of crowd that one wants. Kind of what happened with Heroes of the Storm, you know?

He probably isn’t invited for the same reason people stop watching his content: He whines constantly. It’s some of the most annoying complaining on the internet. Despite my love for Pally and this game, his channel is like nails on a chalkboard.

Each day, there are many players who would give out tons of suggestion better than his. And guess what? They didn’t get invited either. Are you saying that their love/dedication for this game does not matter. Simply because they haven’t shown their face on stream frequent enough?

Third major expansion end boss, dragon aspect of the earth and self proclaimed aspect of death, father of onyxia and nefarion, breaker of worlds, and old god puppet solely brought into the nexus because of a single forgettable content creator? Yeah nice try but you should lay off of whatever candy you’re messing with. He’s one of the biggest characters in warcraft, even if his expansion wasn’t well received.

Forget these haters man. I love watching MFPALLYTIME. When it seemed like all hope was lost for a game I admire like HoTS, he kept going with brilliant videos.
Not only are they quality videos, but they are entertaining and sometimes informative. He doesn’t deserve the only credit, but he’s a huge voice that should be recognized. If not for the deathwing character, then for continuing a love for a game a lot of us didn’t want to see die.

MfPallytime was reported for verbal and sexual abuse. I don’t think anybody would want to be associated with someone of this kind

Given the countless ideas and suggestions people have made for Deathwing, it’s not really a shock that the final form would resemble at least some of them. Especially when that form is directly intended to capture the ‘awesome dragon of destruction’ flavor that many of those suggestions also aimed for.

One of the reasons I play HOTS is because I watched Pallytimes videos.
Blizzard has flown him all over the world when HOTS was supported by Blizzard.
Pally wasn’t flown to California for the release because THERE IS NO BUDGET for it. They are in MAINTENANCE MODE that means the promo budget is MUCH LESS than it was in the first 4 years.
They got JHOW and Trysklr to do it because they are already in California and in the LA area, they can drive themselves to Blizzard, and Blizzard knows they will do a decent job.
If you want proof of how much the promo budget has been cut, look at the MechaStorm 1 video v MechaStorm 2 video. Look at the Blizzcon videos for Hanzo and Alexstrasa v the Deathwing video.
Look at the fact that they DIDN’T EVEN WAIT FOR BLIZZCON TO RELEASE THE MOST ANTICIPATED HERO making up for Ophelia last year!!!
Look at the fact that they aren’t flying in streamers to stream the new hero (maybe JHow and Tryk will be doing the show floor)
This is the new reality, HOTS isn’t hot for Blizzard this is what we can expect from now on.
This doesn’t mean its a Ded game, as long as players love it and play it. Hots is just an Orphan child at Blizzard thats all there is.

Um he asked girls for pics. In the world of inappropriate conduct this is kind of tame. Considering it was usually done while drunk and that he’s gotten help for that I doubt this was an issue more than the promotion budget issues for HOTS.

Has he not made money off of hots videos and growing a fanbase off of the game? Also I heavily cringed at the “real creator behind deathwing”
Just accept that your view is severely clouded because of being a fanboy.
What about carbot animation he did his thing about death wing does that make him a creator he is a big blizzard fan to the point that his stuff is in the game. Unless the person made the skills traits in game model then he did not make the hero.

I think saying he just asked for pics is an enabling way of talking about this kind of thing. The fact that he was someone people looked up to doesn’t give him a free pass for everyone else to turn a blind eye to unsolicited advances. Women and victims in general need to be heard and protected. Not dismissed with this kind of tone.
i’ve been asking for deathwing for years, and my version is pretty much what we got.
shall i get invited to blizzcon? or do i need to be a youtuber? XD
