Constant D/C's every 5-15 minutes, can anyone help me figure out why?

Have no real issues other than with Blizzard games (wow did this for a while when I was stopping playing. Seems like when this happens I often lose my connect to discord as well, though that isn’t always the case. Obviously it looks like im having problem on the et-0-02-br01 line, but I don’t know what that means. Thanks for any help I can get!

Hey, CrazySammy! Thanks for the WinMTR test! The primary concern is that the home latency is showing at around 11ms for the average, which is a little high.

The test is very short though so the data isn’t as accurate. If you could run a longer test for about 10-15 minutes until a disconnection occurs? Running in a practice or training mode is preferred to avoid any penalties.

With the high spike on the home network, are you currently wired or wireless?

As for the et-0-0-2-br01-eqla1.as57976.net, there’s often concern when the worst latency is high, but this just due to de-prioritization of the peering node so the value will be a little higher and will not cause the disconnection issue. The average latency is fine here at a 47ms.

There is packet loss at the end of the test, which with a bit more data could give us some information on if there may be configuration issue or something else happening by the time it reaches the servers.

Hope this is more useful, this was over the course of a game where I had 3 disconnects

It looks like you’re losing packets right after you leave your router. Power cycle your connection in case it just is flooded with data.

If that doesn’t work, the problem is likely with the router or the connection to the ISP. You’ll need to reach out to your ISP and see if the device needs to be replaced or if there’s anything on their end that they can do to fix the connection between you and their local network box down the road.
