Complete the Angiris Council already

Where is Itherael @?

Itharael is a non-combatant. How would you fit him into a combat oriented game?

Itherael is my most wanted Diablo character right now!

First of all, Ithereal is experienced in combat, as can be seen in the Wrath cinematic. He might not be as proficient as Imperius, but he can hold his own quite well.

Secondly, see Deckard Cain for example.

Deckard Cain shows you can make a non-combatant in HotS.

He does not show how this particular non-combatant can be made in HotS. The fact that it’s possible isn’t a specific solution. It’s the idea that a solution might exist.

Itharael is a non-combatant. How would you fit him into a combat oriented game?

Deckard Cain is a non-combatant, as is Abathur. In order to fit someone like Itharael into the game he would need to be a Support or Healer. And since we already have Auriel as the Angiris healer then it would be fitting for him to play the Support role.

  1. Imperius-Bruiser
  2. Tyrael-Tank
  3. Malthael-Assasin
  4. Auriel-Healer
  5. Itherael-Support

It’s a functioning Team Comp so I’m all for it.
Though in Order to get Itherael there needs to be shown a desire for him, I’m a completionist so I’m all for him being thrown in there but @Taledra if you really want him try making a Hero Concept and getting some support from other Nexus players.

Yes, we all want those 5 angel meme team

“Support role” is still just the idea of an idea. It’s not a solution to the problem, it’s just insisting that there is one.

I’m not understanding what you are saying here Phylnch. The support role is for Heroes that assist their teammembers in a specific way while in some cases filling another role.

Abathur and The Lost Vikings role is to absorb a lot of Experience for their team, while also Pushing Camps or Waves aggressively.

Zarya and Tassadar’s/Medivh’s role is to provide shields for their team while also acting as a Bruiser/Tank and Assassins respectively.

The Support Role can be broken down into a role for just for pure Lane Pushing heroes (Former Specialists that aren’t strong enough to be considered assassins).
OR for Heroes that can function in another role (bruiser/assassin) but not as strongly as those whose Kits are dedicated to that role but, they can compensate with having abilities that assist their Team, such as Shields or Portals.

Well if it helps, I’m working on updating my concept for him into an aggressive support. Idk when it will be completed, but look out for it if you want to see my take on it.

Somehow your definition of support makes your solution even more vague than just saying he should be a support.

You’re still not providing any definite answers to the question “How would Itherael be implemented into HotS?” you’re just insisting that there is an answer.

.> Completing the Angiris Council before the Dragon Aspects

I can’t throw up in my mouth at the moment but I sure can try.

It’s way off to complete Dragon Aspects. Idk what you are talking about

Not to mention the dragon aspects are tangential to the overall storyline of World of Warcraft while the Archangels of Diablo are some of the most important characters in that universe.

That being said, completing the three prime evils of Diablo would be better imo. Baal deserves a slot in the game.

Oh you didn’t make it clear at all this is what you were saying. My insistence was that it was a possibility, I didn’t have a Kit ready for Itherael to back it up. I’m sure I could think of one but I’m currently busy working on other Heroes, and honestly I’m not too concerned with him joining any time soon. I’m a completionist so I want him but there are many other heroes I’d rather have first.
