I would like to know if blizzard still provides players with chatlogs that lead up to their ban, because I didn’t receive such when it happened.
(I didn’t know in which category to put this in, so move it if it doesn’t belong here.)
The appeal window should still show the relevant chat line that led to a silence.
(Note, in this player’s case it is blank as they had chat turned off - because it was a Ping - apparently, even Pings can lead to silences, as a Ping counts as chat.)
When I went for the appeal, I didn’t get the aforementioned window with chat logs. Maybe it’s because my penalty is a 14 day ban and not a silence?
In that case, there is a possibility you were reported several times for other categories like Intentional Feeding, Non-participation, Trolling, AFK, etc.
Then a chat log would not appear, as those bans are decided upon your in-game performance (such as statistics).
That could probably be the reason. Thanks for the assist!
