Thank you everyone for participating in the ninth Concept Design Contest, judged by our two wonderful judges, Waterlong and Nortin. All of the scores have been posted. The challenge put a lot of people under pressure, but I am delighted that there were some really great designs in this contest! All of you should feel proud. This is the first ever tie in a CDC, and the judges agonized over who would win. Without further ado, the results.
The winner of the ninth CDC is WhoYouExpect, who’s Selendis, High Executor concept wowed the judges with the creativity and careful improvement every week, earning a score of 88/100. Link found here: {CDC #9} High Executor Selendis
The runner-up and tied contestant was Marrossi’s Karax, Phase-Smith of the Daelaam. The design was incredibly interesting, elegant, and straightforward. His refined design earned a score of 88/100 as well. Link found here: [CDC #9] Karax - Phasesmith of the Daelaam
And, for honorable designer, Damian has been chosen by the judges. A contestant since the first CDC, this CDc showed Damian’s ability to create beautiful talent trees and creative takes on beloved classics.
Once again I will congratulate each and every contestant; the contest theme forced you all to think hard about the future, but you all proved your designer mettle, and I hope each of you feels like you are better in some way. I hope each and every one of you will join the future contests, and fight once again for the winner of the CDC!
