Multiple times I’ve re-installed the battle.net launcher and Heroes of the Storm itself and have had no luck. Everytime the game is installed, I click “PLAY” through the Battle.net launcher, and it momentarily says “Game is running…” - however 5 seconds later the PLAY button comes back and the game never launches. I’ve tried clicking the icon in my Applications folder and launching through the Battle.net launcher.
Could I get some assistance? I’m on a Mac (Mojave).
This typically indicates something blocking the game such as background programs or antivirus software. Try disabling anything else that is running to test the game by itself. If that doesn’t help, reply back with a DxDiag:
Press Windows Key + R.
Type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save
Paste the DXdiag into the post, select and highlight everything you just pasted, and hit the “code” button (</>). That’ll make the information much more readable.
It should look like this.
If you have issues pasting here, please use Pastebin and post the link (ex: Pastebin (dot) com/123456).
rk0660, are you running the game from an administrator account? Although it really should run as any user, my experience is you need to run as administrator for all of the battle.net stuff to actually work.
I am having the exact same issue as rk0660. I’ve tried just about everything recommended on the articles. I’ve even re-downloaded the game a few times.
Here is my DxDiag (I think):
