Hello, I would like to change the location of the HOTS settings folder in my documents. I’ve tried every possible solution that I know but nothing works, even reinstalling on another drive still sends the settings folder to my documents.

We use the Documents folder for all in-game settings. There is no supported way to move the default location to a different location.
The main reason why game developers use My Documents for settings and game save data is twofold. They want to keep it separate from the actual game installation location to help prevent players from mistakenly deleting their game saves and settings when reinstalling the game. They also want to make sure the Settings folder has full Read/Write permissions to the hard drive. The My Documents folder has full permissions on by default.
It has been an ongoing trend for well over a decade to use My Documents as a save/settings location. I know it is a pain for people who like to keep the folder clean and organized in a certain fashion, but that is the reasoning behind why the folder exists there.
There are so many things we did 10 years ago that we, at the very least, frown upon today wouldn’t you agree? Or should we keep playing on 10 year old hardware as well because #nochange?
People nowadays have things like onedrive etc in place to make sure their documents are always backed-up, and heroes of the storm refuses to persist any settings if you have anything like that set up or it does for me at least. Reinstalling the game and removing all of the saved settings don’t fix any of that.
