Can't login due to fatal error

game was fine yesterday, but now i can’t play, sometimes i get to the selection screen but it always crashes before i do anything,

that’s the ID of my report

Hey Shangs,

I looked into the error code and have a few things for you. If these do not work, we are going to want to look at your system files and I recommend putting in a support ticket with those attached.

First and foremost, make sure your graphics card(s) drivers are fully updated. You will want to go to the Nvidia’s website to double check this. Make sure any overlays that could be running such as Discord, Overwolf and others are turned off.
Let’s then try windowed mode.

  1. On the Battle.net App click on Options and then game Settings.
  2. Go to the game and check off Additional Command line arguments.
  3. In the box type -displayMode 0 and then press Done. Then try with -displayMode 2 and -displayMode 1
  4. Launch Heroes of the Storm.

If you do need to place a ticket make sure to put in the description that it is for HOTS as well as any and all troubleshooting you’ve done. Please also include any crash log error codes you have.
