Can't click anything?

So… I re-downloaded HoTs to play with some buddies but for some reason, when I load into the game (also kind of stupid to see the xmas event loading screen… I know the game is in maintenance mode but c’mon guys), I can’t click on anything other than the Collection tab. As in, my clicks do not register. Can’t open my friends tab, can’t invite anyone, can’t dismiss the Expired Boost notification… hell I can’t even open the settings area.

What do I do? I would really love to play again with the lads but this is also really disappointing. This is near TF2 levels of slack.

Can you try to launch Heroes in Windowed Mode to see if your clicks register?

In the Blizzard Desktop App, click on Heroes of the Storm, Options, Game Settings.

Check the box for Additional command line arguments

Enter in the box -Displaymode 0 and click done.

If you are still having issues, try disabling any Overlays you may have running.

The issue could be caused by Nvidia Geforce Experience “optimizing” your settings. Click the Revert button in the game settings in Geforce experience and that worked for me.
