Cannot Play Ranked

Hello Devs -

Specialist Game Master Netanden asked me to post here regarding a bug I am experiencing that is preventing me from playing in ranked games. I have a newly built computer with 36gb ram and a Nvidia 2080 graphics card.

The issue is simply that when I click on ranked, the image that should normally appear is bugged. I see a white box with a grey triangle overlay. When I scroll over it, I am told I have 0 games played, won, lost etc, despite this not being accurate.

When I look at the join que button it is not available to push and says requirements are not met.

I have tried repairing the install, and reinstalling with no success.

Can someone please direct me to a fix?

Hey, Demon!

This is normally caused by a poor connection to the Authentication services.

Please collect a WinMTR test:

Make sure to run the WinMTR test for 5 to 10 minutes while experiencing the problem. This will help us figure out what is causing it.

Ok, downloaded WinMTR. Put in 24.105.30.129 (America West) Ran test. Opened HOTS.

I see no loss %or anything wrong really. I admit that I dont exactly understand what I am looking at however.

Can you please post the results here so I can take a look?

Thanks!

I do see a slight spike here:

| 96.120.91.1 - 0 | 675 | 675 | 4 | 9 | 167 | 8 |

But nothing that would cause this specific issue. I do have a few ideas we can try out, after looking at your system files on your ticket that you submitted.

  1. Lets first try disabling Windows 10 Game Bar.

  2. Disable IPV6 on your local network.

  3. Try a DNS Flush.

  4. Create a new Windows admin account to see if the same thing happens on the new Admin account. This will rule out any Windows specific setting issues as all Windows specific settings will be defaulted.

hey Demon, I have a question for you.
Have you ever been silenced in the past? If so, how many times? Thank you.

Never silenced. 0 times.
