Title. Been playing HoTS for FIVE years. I’ve put my blood, sweat, and tears into playing this game. I’ve encountered enough baddies to fill up an entire block list. It’s usually just one every like 20 games or so, but the list is full. Now what? I do this because I don’t want to have to mute people every time I’m in the game. That one person just needs a mute. I don’t mind playing with them again (the game is just gonna put me on their team anyway.)
Please, make the block list larger.

Lol. Are you soft and block for every little thing? I doubt there’s a lot of death threat people. Blocking because they feed does nothing as they’re still in your games, just not saying anything
Id just start unblocking the earliest ppl you’ve blocked. Its pretty unlikely you’ll ever play against them assuming they even still play and that that account hasn’t been banned.

I wish he’d start a series and record his list and then see the people he unblocked from years ago in his game
If your block list is full maybe the problem is you and not the players you block.
Also you can just remove some of the first people you blocked as they are properly not even online anymore or barely play.

I was Tassadar main. Of course my block list was full 3-4 times.

Stop blocking people just because they’re bad?
Block is for people who you’ve seen a consistent pattern of chat toxicity (ideally more than one game), or are harassing you after the game is over, not assessing their skill level.
Don’t use my Tass as an excuse for your sensitivities. I’ve said this before, he was my second most played hero. You’re just whining. I just dragged complainers to the win more than half the time and proved them wrong. There’s nothing more satisfying than not blocking them and saying, now, I remember you saying something about Tassadar sucking?
I was blocking them to save my time and be able to concentrate to win.
I prefer to play and try to win instead wasting my time on someone to prove a point they won’t get anyway.
They sort of get it when you win. You can also mute them without blocking. Your excuse doesn’t stand with me, and I just hate when Tassadar is invoked in this manner. He deserves better.
I remember people were still crying about Tassadar even after win with him.
They wrote “We carried u” or something similar to prove they were right.

To Tooton, reporting or blocking is being “soft” or “soft-hearted” (see other posts from that member). In the “Are you toxic?” thread, Tooton rated him(her)self 9/10, not 10 because “I don’t make death threats”.
So death threats are only being toxic, not being a psychopath, and anything below only displeases soft people?
We have a problem of absolutes here. “Either black or white”.
However I agree with the last sentence, blocking for feeding or bad playing will not prevent such players from being teamed up with you again.

As others have said just remove the top players from block list you probably wont see them again. Keep reporting ppl for being toxic. When players refuse to report toxic behavior they get away with it and won’t improve.

Prune the top of the list… Some names could be from years ago and don’t even have the game installed anymore.
And if you did run into them again… Would you even remember why you blocked them in 2017? The block list only shows a bunch of numbers for the old blocks.
Keep in mind he plays on eu. Ive played on both and eu is kilometers more toxic. Since english is a second language to many of them they will pull every curse word/slur out of the dictionary when they’re angry. Its not comparable. Na for the most part is pretty peaceful.

I am European and I see many players trying to be smart insulting you in their own language and being certain you won’t understand any of it, puting the “Babel” diversity of European languages to their advantage and get through the net of reporting unseen. Russians are specialists in this regard, with their Cyrillic alphabet. However I know lots of European words (not always the best ones…) so I still understand them and report them with a translation in my report. What is funny is, those who do that the most after the Russians are the French. They usually have no suspicion of me being French too, so when they do this, they have no idea of what awaits them.

I can see that. I played in EU a short stint myself. Using Tassadar as an excuse is still lame though. Reporting players without blocking them works just fine.
This checks out i lived in france haha. Its so weird bc French are either the most friendly people you’ve ever met or the most stereotypical arrogant jerk. There is very little in between.

Aren’t you right. But, out of good manners, I will not commit the insult of saying which one of these two sorts is the most prominent…
Ive said this before but blizzard does not believe they have a toxic community. I block only afkers and feeders in games due to having chat turned off and I only play ranked and its pretty bad when I have to clean the list every season cause it has become full.
