Cannot add to block list because list is full

Adding people to your block list would make sense if it made you avoid that player for x hours.

Adding more and more people to your blocklist just because they feed or afk is really just a waste of time cause it does nothing to stop them to do it again.

Add a feeder to your blocklist and then next game you get him again. GJ you just wasted your time adding him to that list. Also dont even try to tell your teammates in draft that thi guy is a feeder cause then you just doomed your own groupe and sank the moral of your team.

A block also happens automaticly upon a report. As tassadar you used to gather a lot of salty people, which you then just need to report.

And if they constantly insult you, sure you can just mute them, but as there is a report and block system, why not just use that? Its unlikely such people would bring value in chat anyway.

It saves you the next time from having to find out someone is like that. So you can concentrate on what matters.

Cursing is also not a taboo here (netherlands).

Where in the US every curse word gets bleeped away, here it rarely happens. If it happens its usualy because kids are often watching aswel.

And this even made it in such way that in some shows bleeping away the curse words makes it sound more excessive, because it normaly wouldnt be done.

Cursing on that also has a positive effect, because most people initialy gather some interest in other languages, because of the cursing done in that. They want to know what is said, and because cursing varies a lot (some langauges curse in sentences) people do learn quite a bit of language aspects.

They sometimes just mimic the cursing, but in plenty of cases people will start to see patterns. Its still down to the person to use those words (or not).

But cursing is on its own not even a problem, its usualy the context in which they are used. You can easily curse in compliments, just because curse words are used as amplification tool, not as the insult/compliment itself.

Sure, salt yeah, believe me, I got PLENTY of that, but that usually didn’t rise to the level of consistent toxicity like I said. Even then, the toxicity was pretty mild. What, someone calls me an idiot for picking a bad hero, someone saying Tass can’t solo heal? Oh noes, whatever will I do with their opinions with my second highest played hero that I win a lot with. There’s also only so many variations of those insults before those kinds of people express and bore themselves out. Also, as the game goes on and they see my competence with the hero, the whining tends to stop.

If you block them, you don’t get to say, I told you so after winning. But you’re right, a report will auto block for you, but it won’t put it on your list, so it still doesn’t make sense for your block list to get full from whining about Tassadar.

Certain countries are a lot worse at toxic behaviour, so even within the EU, depending on which players you face, you might still get a diffirent experience.

If you see a russian type, you have no idea what he said. But it might be an excessively toxic thing. Just like the french insults generaly also being harsh compared to the netherlands, or german insults. These things vary, but those who speak that language can definitely tell which insults are heavy and which arent. If a french person would use english insults the same way they would in french, and yell that at random people, their responses can be very diffirent because of culture.

There is a degree of cursing you can accept, but there is also a degree which you shouldnt. Personaly my standard on that is: if it can be used in songs that reach the top 40, its acceptable (and rage against the machine has a very good example of some cursing that on that is acceptable to me).

But i already know that this standard is well beyond what is accepted in hots.

WTF. First off, it’s so easy just to mute every one at the start of a match. DONE. That’s what i do. I consider those clicks a warm-up prior to the battle haha.

Secondly, i didn’t know there was such a thing as a “limit” to the players you can block.

Third, stop being a weeny and just mute players at the beginning of your matches. Problem solved.

Fourth, if they make the block list larger? You’d probably just fill it up again.

100% this. It serves no purpose to increase number of players you can block cause it dont help at all. If your list is full every season then maybe the problem is on you and not the toxic players.

People forget we have a mute button but they would rather spend time filling thier blocklist with people they will end up getting matched with the next day.

Its a block list not an avoid list.

BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP Ive been playing since beta just found out this was a thing today. Ill end up getting banned again for being “toxic” becasue I cant block the rats who I refuse to carry in this “game”. Cuck pocket holders at blizzard are lazy and watching them put together pathetic “games” with their 2 last braincells fighting for 3rd place is hilarious. The fact people still put money into this “game” is what really gets me lmao.

Huh? Well, if any of that post had something to do with the title of this thread (full block list), you should post in Technical Support, they might be able to help you.

Needing to block people in game is unfortunately a sign of weakness. We can all find differences with the next person that lead to disliking them, but thankfully we cannot block everyone in real life, like some dystopian movie. By all means, mute people you can’t handle listening to…but crying about an infinite block list is very sad.

I bet you would also say its a sign of weakness to call the police if something happens to you. But whatever fload your boat in your fantasy world

We all know what Pure’s weakness is, it’s Xen!

I’m amused by pure ignoring all replies, except for; Xen, Volun, Kara, and replies to, err, very like-minded accounts.

If he got me on ignore then its fine by me. It just means he censure people he dont want to listen and do exactly what he talk about aka putting people on ignore. So much for talking about its a weakness to put people on ignore when he do it himself. Thats what you call a hypocrite.
