why not? how does adding his humanoid form ruin it for you? it can function as when he uses mounts when flight is on CD and when he is showcased in shop
I personally have a minimal exception about heroes. What they should do. Thrall was below this.
Deathwing is deffinetly much better as my exception was. Your idea is baseline bad if we see the current deathwing.

But you mentioned adding.
That means twice the work for devs (both art and balancing). Im pretty sure most people, when they asked for Dwing, asked for dragon.

I don’t understand lol it’s either you’re thinking too hard about it or you’re simply just disagreeing to disagree, in what way does adding a humanoid form when his flight is on CD ruin the hero? in fact it adds more to it that he can toggle to humanoid to dragon when he wants but mounting up would put him in his humanoid state…
If Humanoid form will ever happens, this would be their best colossal fire they would have ever created in the history of the game, maybe would be even considered worse than the stunt they brought from the D.Va the Destroyer and D.Va teaser announcement 2 years ago or the cancellation of HGC.

That is a great idea! While they’re at it, Blizzard should also add a larva form Zagara, Nova form Kerrigan and a Muggle form Li-Ming. Those would be so badass!

No. Deathwing is most iconic as a dragon. Just like the reason alexstrasza fits in her humanoid form is because that’s the one players see her in the most.
certain heroes are balanced around being not being able to use mounts. It makes using their Z a choice. With this balance suggestion, you’re entering gameplay territory and not just an aesthetic choice.

Deathwing’s humanform ppl know is just the part of a lie-based imaginary quest. He never actually used his humanform once he was Deathwing with all the metalic prosthetics. So it’s not part of his fantasy.
And if he’d be a human-dragon, he’d be just like Alex which’d be boring.
Deathwing from Cataclysm was all about being the big scary dragon and lucky us, that’s what we got.
