I’ve removed the hot key for the camera lock, but still in some games it will enable, usually in a fight. I know blizz says there are no hacks in their games, but why is this happening? I can only turn it back off by going into the options, once I’m dead.

Did you make sure to press Accept when you removed the hotkey? Camera lock isn’t a hack by the way.

Yes, I pressed accept. and it totally interferes with gameplay. It going on when you make it off by default could totally be a hack.
I figured you wanted a hack to permanently disable. Sorry man, I think it’s probably just a personal/computer issue. My right-click-thru-minimap disables itself pretty often, mature language filter literally always enables itself every single time I log in so I’ve given up on disabling it over and over again, and I’m always somehow still in most chats I’ve /joined despite repeatedly /leaving them.
Nobody else I know has these issues, so I chalk it up to playing on an 8 year old laptop
also the stereo on my digital audio workstation is totally effed, like when I pan to the left, the sound just… changes, but doesn’t pan, and if I pan a channel hard right and the master channel hard left, the sound is totally centered again. ??? I think I need to just reformat the other computer I have lying around with twice the specs and re-install everything on that and hope it solves the problem
Why don’t you just play with camera follow all the time and get used to it?
It can be uncomfortable sometimes, but the game is playable

Why don’t you just leave the hotkey and quickly disable the lock when this happens?

There’s a hotkey that you might be pressing by accident. IIRC it’s L.

I’m having the same issue and L does not work. Screen remans stuck and this happens every game.
The game has had a bug for 7 years where sometimes pressing L doesn’t unlock the camera and there is no fix for that except restarting the client.
The same thing sometimes happens with music and sound, CTRL+S and CTRL+M simply do nothing and it says “sound enabled” over and over even if you try to disable it (disabling in options doens’t work either).
I wouldn’t hold my breath hoping for a fix.

Alright, well thanks… really disappointed.
Also scoured the internet and no one seems to have a solution other then “L”. I’m being told by players to AFK since I can’t assist pushing me into leaver games which increases que time.
Unfortunate because I actually enjoyed the game for a few days - thankfully I didn’t spend any disposable income as I was considering a boost - time to move on.
If someone could hack your controls. I’m pretty sure camera lock is not what they’d mess with.
I’d disable QWE, and R, but that’s just me
