Bwonsamdi - Hero concept
Bwonsamdi is a healer hero, who heavily relies on his allies to use his abilities to fruition, and can also protect himself from any damage.
Ability description:
Trait [D]:
- Bloodline Bond
Bwonsamdi can choose an allied hero to be bound to him, this allied hero receives bonus armor, spell power and attack damage. Every time they kill an enemy hero, this bonus increases.
Resets on death. Resets when changing heroes.
Gains [PROTECTED] until the bound hero dies.
- Mojo
Every time an enemy is killed by Bwonsamdi or his bound ally or the ally he is bound to dies, bwonsamdi gains stacks of Mojo. Used to empower his basic abilities. Puts the ability used with on cooldown.
Ability 1 [Q]: Mojo Infusion
Bwonsamdi infuses heroes in a small area with his mojo, healing them. Healing amount & area increases based on stack of mojo.
Ability 2 [W]: Raise the dead
Bwonsamdi raises dead Zandalari. These fight the closest enemy, prioritizing non-hero enemies and structures. They last indefinitely. They are strong but very brittle.
The number of undead and their strength depends on how many stacks of mojo.
Ability 3 [E]: Empower Bond
Bwonsamdi empowers the bond between him and his ally, giving the affected ally a temporary health and armor bonus for 5 seconds.
Effects increase based on mojo stacks.
Active ability [1]: Use Mojo
Bwonsamdi consumes all his mojo to empower his next basic ability.
Heroic 1 [R]: March of the souls
Bwonsamdi teleports to a selected location and after a short wind up, summons a wave of souls around him which expand in a circle. The longer bwonsamdi channels, the more the souls expand.
Whenever a soul hits an enemy hero, the affected hero is slowed and has reduced armor for 3.5 seconds.
Heroic 2 [R]: Loa of death
Bwonsamdi makes a deal with his bound hero, causing that hero to turn into a ghost the next time they die and respawn after a short time in the same place. The ghost cannot move. Killing the protected hero will not award kill XP This effect has a cooldown.
Mount [Z]: Death’s swiftness
After not receiving any damage, CC or using any abilities for 5 seconds, movement speed is increased by 50%.

Talents:
Level 1:
- Increase the amount of mojo gained from minions by 5
Get me back me mojo! [Quest]: Gather a total of 3000 mojo.
[Reward]: Increase maximum mojo by 50. - Mojo drain [W]: Every time an undead hits an enemy hero, gain 5 mojo.
- Mojo absorption [D]: Every time you or your bound hero kills an enemy hero, gain 50 bonus mojo.
Level 4:
- Mojo Master [Q]: Increase the radius and cast range of Mojo Infusion by 30%
- Dark Mojo [Q]: Mojo infusion also reduces enemy healing received by +1% for every point of mojo.
- Lingering disease [W]: Undead attacks reduce enemy heroes’ damage by 5%, stacking to 75%.
Level 7:
- Death’s Protection [E]: Bound hero gains shields equal to 1% of their health for every 6 points of mojo.
- Cloak of Death [E]: Grants 1% bonus movement speed for every 3 points of mojo.
- Death’s Bargain [E]: Increases the duration by 1 seconds, reduces the cooldown by 0.5 seconds every time the bound ally takes damage from an enemy hero.

Level 13:
- Greater Mojo Infusion [Q] Using Mojo Infusion on a single target increases its effectiveness by 50%.
- Dark Bond [W/D]: Bwonsamdi heals the bound hero for 35% of the damage dealt from Raise Undead
- Death’s Advance [Active]: Bwonsamdi gains 25% movement speed, passes through enemies, grants 15% movement speed to his allies and slows nearby enemies by 50% for 2.5 seconds for 5 seconds. (40 second cooldown)
Level 16:
- Death’s Due [W]: Undead deal an additional 50% damage over 5 seconds.
- Loa Resilience [Passive]: Crowd control duration reduced by 20% every time Bwonsamdi is rooted/slowed/silenced/stunned/slept for 3 seconds, stacks up to 5 times.
- Master of Death [Passive]: Mojo can now be used on basic attacks. (Increases damage by +2% for every point of mojo and slows the enemy by 0.5% for every point of mojo). Lasts for 3 basic attacks.
Level 20:
- Vicious souls [R1]: Souls now continuously apply slows and armor debuff so long as enemy heroes are touched by them. Cooldown reduced by 40 seconds
- The true god of death [R2]: Additionally, can use Loa of Death to “protect” an ally hero from death for the next 5 seconds, applying the same effects to them. Still goes on cooldown.
- Come spend some quality time with Bwonsamdi [Active]: Puts the selected hero in time stop for 5 seconds, and is only able to see Bwonsamdi. Unable to use other abilities for the duration. (100 second cooldown)
- To serve in life and death [D]: Bonuses gained from Bloodline Bond are no longer lost upon death or changing heroes. (When reaching maximum stacks, gain a bonus +5 armor, +5% spell power, and +5% attack damage.)
