I am not able to update battlenet - system has been optimized to latest version of Windows, unable to play HOS because it also needs to be updated but until battlenet updates, that won’t happen. It just keeps saying “updating…” and stays on that. Help!!

Sorry to hear you’re having issues updating the Battle.net app… to add onto what Planar suggested, here are some further troubleshooting tracks we can follow.
First, let’s clear out the Battle.net app’s cache folder. The update may be getting stuck on damaged or incomplete files in the cache.
If the installation gets stuck again, let’s check if any of your security programs are reacting to the updating process. It may be necessary to update your virus definitions, or in extreme cases to temporarily disable such programs.
Troubleshooting Security Applications
There may also be a Windows setting interfering. Secondary logon service allows apps to request admin-level permissions on a case-by-case basis, for functions such as creating or editing files (important during patching!)
