An internal error occured while connecting to Battlenet

So with not being able to log in, are we not going to receive the…

“Epic Chaos Lizard Mount has been added for Login reward.”

No updates here and i’m getting really worried that this issue will never be fixed :confused:

The Blizzard employee told me to create a ticket to get my account manually fixed.

For the past two months, I have not been able to log into Heroes of the Storm on any computer or connection. I just receive the same “An internal error has occured.” over and over.

This has also been frustrating because I paid for a yearly stim pack that is just sitting there while I am unable to log in because of an account issue on your end.

Please manually fix this as your employee has directed me to instruct you guys to do so.

Hey there Emil,

Technical Specialist Rinadar here.

I have heard of this rarely going on with some accounts and Heroes of the Storm. We have to escalate these to the developers to check in to if we can verify this happens on our end also.

I sent an email to inform you I needed to log in to do this. I changed the password to the account and tested logging into Heroes of the Storm. I ran into the same error. This usually happens with just a single region and so I tested Europe. That region worked for me. This does match the bug that we’ve been tracking and I have this escalated to the developers.

You’ll find a password reset email waiting for you to regain access to the account. In the mean time, it may take a bit for the developers to get this fixed. We should send an email to you once they have it figured out. My apologies on the frustration and hassle with the loss of stim pack time.

any updates to this? Its been 2 weeks now. I thought this would be addressed within days. I paid for a yearly stimpack and ive already lost 3 months worth of game time over it. This is not right.

Thank you for your patience while we looked into your issue for you. Tech Specialist Logan, here. I double checked your account issue and wanted to leava a bit of info on what is going on here.

Your account is currently affected by some variety of bug which is under investigation right now. A few accounts are having this problem and the developers are looking over it, but haven’t found a root cause just yet. That said, we also understand that you’ve got a stimpack active, and we can address that once the core bug is fixed.

For the time being there’s no ETA on a resolution just yet. I totally get that this is cutting into you being able to enjoy your downtime the way you want to, and we want to try to get you back in ASAP. Once we do have updates, someone will reach out to you regarding the account and we can discuss your stimpack and such at that point.

I sincerely hope that this experience with Blizzard Entertainment has been informative, if not helpful. If you need help with anything else, please feel free to reach out and let us know.

Any updates to this issue? It’s been over a month now.

I have purchased every skin/cosmetic/hero in this game. I have literally sunk thousands in this game, check my order history if you don’t believe me.

Not only is my one year stimpack that I purchased going to waste, but now I wont be able to collect the login reward of the lizard mount that you guys recently announced.

POSSIBLE RESOLUTION - It appears that everyone who has this issue had purchased a battletag change, myself included. Is there any way you guys can perhaps change my battletag back to what it was before? Shockslayer# I dont remember the numbers unfortunately.

I really need this issue resolved. You guys aren’t even keeping me in the loop.

I was going to make a big post on Reddit about this but I wanted to give you guys ample time to rectify the issue first.

I am desperate. I played this game every day and i’ve put so much money into it (and other Blizzard games.)

Can a Blizzard engineer perhaps give me a call to let me know whats going on? My number is xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Just adding to this, I also have the same issue, but DID NOT purchase a Battle-tag change. I doubt that is the cause. Perhaps it is the fact that we purchased everything (I’ve done this as well) nothing left to buy so no money in fixing this. </3
