Yeah the ratio is already bad but imagine paying over 100$ and hitting only pity timers.
It’s an awful system. People always say ‘well that usually doesn’t happen’…the problem is that it should never happen.

It’s an awful system. People always say ‘well that usually doesn’t happen’…the problem is that it should never happen.
Again, even if that was his sole motive (it’s not)…the only thing people care about is that someone’s publically calling Blizzard out for the community.
So what if he gets a few clicks or subs for this one video loll.
Definitely deserved…besides, you are talking about an entirely different topic that is irrelevant.
The point is, we got scammed by Blizz. KEKW
Whatever his intent was when he brought up his reputation, it’s good because he, accidentally or not, made more well known streamers/creators speak up on the matter too.
Just look at the comments section under Frodan’s retweet lmao.
Yeah.
RDU’s reply was a bit salty about the call out by Zeddy.
‘positive outlook’
Uh huh.
I mean I don’t dislike RDU. But that’s exactly what he should’ve done. Use his platform to speak up. Especially if your fans bombard you with questions about it and you care about your fans. Zeddy put it pretty eloquently when he explained what his next video would be. Saying that with how much people care about this issue more than anything, and how many questions he gets about it from his fans, he simply must address it.
And just now he said he was thanked by multiple content creators for that video because they’re genuinely scared to do the same.
The thing RDU said
What a strange way to characterize what zeddy said and the criticism he had for the personalities. As if pointing out that someone is spitting on your face and telling you it’s raining means you have a bad attitude about life? That’s what Blizzard and anyone who’s supportive of what they’ve done with this or trying to misdirect from how bad it is is doing. It’s not salt, it’s reality.
Madmax originally quoted you for saying the guy stood for integrity. I think the point here is that taking the position of an anti-establishment populist is actually just as much of a calculated move as those other streamers who choose to stay silent in order to keep their Bliz perks.
It’s one thing to like the positive results, but it’s another matter to assign virtues like integrity to the guy. That’s dangerous, as that makes it easier for him to get you to believe whatever else he might say.
You get the point. I’m frankly confused at the last couple posts that have nothing to do with the OP but are instead yammering about random streamer morals and integrity rather than Blizzard’s lack thereof.
Why would you EVER say telling the truth is dangerous and not virtuous?
N-no, don’t be honest about things, soon you’ll be deserving of respect and setting a good example for the community, THEN where will we be!?
I swear, every new controversy makes the hearthstone lifers even more deranged.
I’ve give “enough time” to it and this is what I THINK the whole battle pass is another scam as well considering that you’re not even leveling quicker…
so in short it’s not a progress this new system
TL;DR: battle pass is a scam should have been added with the $80 mega bundle, rewards are garbage and the exp gains and needed to level are incredible stupid high, CURRENTLY $20 for the pass is a SCAM you’re LOCKING yourself from getting the rewards as soon as you pay grind first then get your rewards even after you paid.
Why would you EVER say telling the truth is dangerous and not virtuous?
Who said anything about truth telling?
Integrity as a virtue just means having a strict sense of ethics or morality. Nothing about truth telling. Heck, nothing about whether their code of ethics/morality that they strictly adhere to is quote unquote good (say, do you agree that parents have a right to beat their children as a form of discipline? That’s an ethical code, and some cultures think it’s fine)
You can’t tell whether somebody has integrity over what their position is on one thing - a thing that isn’t that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. I mean how much you do or don’t get for free in a video game is very much a first world problem (contrast that to what I asked above)
You’re kind of displaying what I’m warning against. You like what Zeddy said about one thing, and now you’re assuming he also stands for other things you like.
Sad isn’t it? God they made great games back in the day. I grew up with blizzard. Sad to see them spewing out trash like this and lying through their teeth as if people aren’t going to figure it out for themselves in release.
‘positive outlook’
LOL!
Rdu did NOT enjoy being called-out haha.
What does a positive outlook have to do with the system blatantly disrespecting loyal players haha?!
You’re kind of displaying what I’m warning against. You like what Zeddy said about one thing, and now you’re assuming he also stands for other things you like.
No, I’m not.
Zeddy told the blatant, honest truth about something, and your reply literally says not to trust him or say he was right to do that because it’s dangerous. That’s ridiculous. He IS right to do that. I don’t care what other good or bad things he’s up to in his life, what he said is true and a fair, moral response to this issue. You’re the only one trying to assign intent or subtext, good or bad, to him and what he’s done. Like, so what if he’s popular for saying the right thing? People SHOULD be popular for saying the right thing. When they say the wrong thing or go back on what they said by doing something else we can correct them too. You don’t have to agree with everything someone says or venerate them forever because they told the truth and did a morally right thing one time.
I like that Zeddy spoke up about this. It’s very tempting as a content creator to want to just keep your head down and toe the line so you can get promotions from blizzard and speaking out against a big new feature is a good way to get yourself off the card preview list among other things.
Also happy that Solem and Frodan had something to say about this too. From the looks of it Regis Killbin is apparently working on a video on this topic and has a tweet with over 200 replies asking for feedback positive or negative (so long as you’re not overly rude). I wouldn’t expect Trump to say anything about it as that sort of thing isn’t really what he covers. Kripp might do a video on it as he does cover HS news not just gameplay videos but he’s also been their go to guy for reveal streams so he might want to play it safe as that’s a pretty good gig. I also wouldn’t expect players like Thijs or Alliestrasza to weigh in on it as they tend to just do game highlights and don’t begrudge them not saying anything. Firebat could be a wild card in all this as lately he has been doing more talking videos so he might weigh in and as a former world champ his opinion would sway things quite a bit.
That said this seems to have blown up a fair bit so I’d be pretty surprised if over the next week or two they don’t address this as it might overshadow a set release which would be a disaster.
it might overshadow a set release which would be a disaster.
Might overshadow??
It has COMPLETELY overshadowed the new set.
hmm so he insulted other streamers …i neved liked people who need to insult others to say his opinion about something
Might overshadow??
It has COMPLETELY overshadowed the new set.
The set hasn’t released yet. It’s a fairly common tactic for game companies to just ignore a complaint from the community and hope people get bored of complaining about it or hearing about it. It works pretty well, especially if you got something new and shiny to offer people which is what’s happening on tuesday. If on Thursday people are still talking about this rather than OMG crazy new deck it’ll definitely get changed. If people have stopped talking about it they may just let the outrage die off and not change a thing
you’re LOCKING yourself from getting the rewards as soon as you pay
I have no idea what you’re saying here. If you’re saying it’s better to wait on the pass than to get it now, I don’t see how that can be remotely accurate given the exp bonus attached to the pass. Percentages are going to scale with you, so I can’t see in any way that the pass has a downside compared to the free track. (Note that I’m not arguing old system vs new system, that’s completely separate.)
so far in all the games i played there is always issues when they add a battle pass
and they always make changes after getting feedback from the players
so im just enjoying myself playing normaly and waiting for the eventual change to the batle pass without stressing out about it
