Some players are good at building decks.
Some players are good at piloting decks.
Some players are good at predicting what their opponent will do.
Some players have really high APM.
Etc etc etc.
Why do you want to penalize only one type of player? Why do you hate them specifically?

Because they consistently lose to them.
Rather than owning their homebrew isnât good or their piloting skills are suboptimal, itâs easier to blame their opponent and try to change the system.
Itâs really that simple.

No idea why my comment was mistakenly flagged as trollingâŚwhy try to hide or bury the truth? Youâre only hurting yourself by doing that.
I did not flag that nonsense (you post way worse offenses to flag), but spamming âitâs rigged!â in every other thread doesnât make it true. Itâs not rigged.
You just have a tendency to think you are the best player in the world and you donât realize it.
Only the best player in the world does not play with better players because the MMR exists.
I didnât say you did, but it doesnât surprise me you think itâs about you somehow
Feel free to use a netdeck, just dont challenge me to a homebrew game and use a netdeck

Netdecks come from âskilled unique deck builderâ who make good decks. if you were one of them, your deck would in time become a netdeck lol.
I also play my own homebrew stuff most of the time but I donât pretend that Iâm particularly good at it

Every ânetdeckâ started as a âhomebrewâ.

I understand your frustration with the prevalence of net decks in the competitive scene, and I appreciate your passion for deck-building as a creative and strategic aspect of the game.
However, itâs important to recognize that ânet deckingâ is not inherently a negative thing. In fact, itâs a natural part of any competitive game with an evolving metagame. When players craft their decks, they often draw inspiration from top-performing strategies, whether theyâre coming from professional players or other skilled deck builders in the community. This allows players to make the most of their collections and ensures that the metagame remains dynamic, with many players experimenting and adapting to shifts in strategy.
The reality is that every player has access to the same cards, and all decksâwhether theyâre ânet decksâ or self-builtâare part of the competitive landscape. This creates a healthy ecosystem where both strategic deck-building and tactical play are essential. Players who prefer unique decks should be proud of their creativity and can still find success, but they may need to adapt and refine their strategies to compete in a competitive environment that values performance as much as originality.
The cards you collect are yours to use in any deck you choose. Youâre not restricted from using them in creative ways. And while it may feel like net decks dominate the ladder, this is part of the gameâs nature: competitive environments often see top-performing strategies rise to the forefront. However, this doesnât diminish the value of unique or creative deck-building; often, the most successful deck builders find ways to innovate within the constraints of the current metagame.
Think about it⌠Youâre essentially saying that someone should not be allowed to play the cards they have in their collection within a deck if someone else has played the same cards in their deck. Just think how limiting that would be for players putting together any deck.
Heh⌠Or, more likely, your deck could be stolen by some âstreamerâ clown and posted or advertised as his own.

I honestly donât try to be rude, but is that text from a prompt? It seems too polite and comprehensive than the norm.
But never say never I guess. Itâs not like that chat bots arenât glorified parrots of a web search at the end of the day.
lol, sure whatever you say.
Lol yeah I guess but either way it becomes a net deck if itâs good
If you find a net deck fun or itâs something youâd put together go ahead and play the deck. I will never fault someone for having fun. Only caring about winning or lacking originality on the other handâŚ

I think they should include additional after game stats that consist of average turn time, cards used by opponent, card ratings based on players usage, and deck rating also based on how many players use it. Might shame players into creating unique decks and also not roping each turn.

Not always. Sometimes a tree falls in the woods with only a few games to hear it before itâs gone, because the tree was a casual and only falls sporadically and sparingly. Does it make a sound?
