Your Death Was Useful - achievement - how?

I destroyed 8 minions with a single Shadowflame but the achievement did not trigger, why? I killed my minion and 7 enemy minions, which equals 8, but the achievement did not trigger. If I have to kill 8 enemy minions how can I do that as the maximum board size is 7 minions? I did this in wild ranked.

How another note I’m shocked how many broken or not possible achievements this game has. Every achievement should be possible to do or it shouldn’t be listed.

In which mode did you try that ? You can only get gameplay achievements in ranked or arena
I’ve been hunting achievements a lot recently and had no difficulty so far with any expansion achievement. The only ones I know to have been broken are achievements related to cards introduced by core sets

I did it in wild ranked.

No it’s not 8 other minions, please read before talking nonsense. How could you kill 8 enemy minions with a single aoe ?

Classic achievements can only be completed in classic mode ==> you can’t complete them anymore, same as duels achievements

It’s not 8 enemy minions, it’s a friendly minion and 8 other minions friendly and enemy

And how do you destroy an additional friendly minion with an aoe that only damages enemy minions ?
The point of the achievement is the destroy the entire enemy board with a single shadowflame, so 8 minions total, as worded

Maybe you should read. You can kill 8 minions because you are killing one of your minions. If you read the ability it kills your minion and 7 of the opponent’s minions if you do it right. Imagine trolling other people and not reading how the achievement is worded yourself. It is ‘Destroy 8 minions with a single Shadowflame’. Shadowflame reads - "Destroy a friendly minion and deals its Attack damage to all enemy minions’ meaning you can destroy 8 minions.

That said it doesn’t work, which means the achievement is poorly worded.

Besides, I already answered to you why you can’t get this achievement : you can only complete classic achievements in classic mode which is no longer available
