So I was playing and my game locked up. I restarted hearthstone to try and connect back to the game. Now it just says:
You were disconnected from your last game.
Reconnecting…
it gives me the option to exit game or wait. When I wait it says unable to create a game then drops me to the closed screen and says oops! we were unable to start a game for you. Please try again.
I’ve swapped regions, tried logging in on mobile and it does the same thing. I did a scan and repair. I restarted. It’s been over 4 hours now since it happened. I let it just sit for like an hour or so still same results. Anyone else experiencing or know what to try next?

Same problem here. I went to sleep. Woke up a few hours later and tried again. I was able to start a game before it froze again. Now I am having the same problem all over again.

Same problem, locked up during a Mercenaries match and I force-quit. Couldn’t get back in for quite a while, and when I finally was able to play again, it locked up at basically the same point in the match.

There is nothing you can do but wait.
Last update causes crashes in every format. Reconnecting to vs AI games is not possible. They get timed out after roughly an hour.

I am writing to report a persistent and frustrating issue I’ve been experiencing with Hearthstone’s Mercenaries game mode. For the past six hours, I have been unable to play Mercenaries on both my PC and mobile devices due to frequent disconnections and error messages.
The primary issues I encounter are:
- “Disconnected from previous game. Reconnecting…” which cycles repeatedly, preventing me from entering or staying in a game.
- “An error occurred while starting the game. Please try again later.” which appears when attempting to launch a Mercenaries bounty.
This problem occurs consistently, regardless of whether I’m playing on my PC or mobile device. I’ve also confirmed that this issue is happening specifically on the Asia server. I have already tried reinstalling the game, but the issue persists.
I primarily play with a Fire deck in Mercenaries, and my goal is to progress and obtain loot, but these technical difficulties are preventing me from doing so.
I suspect this issue may be related to a recent patch or announcement concerning the upcoming November expansion, as these problems started occurring shortly after that update.
Could you please investigate this matter and provide a solution? Any guidance on how to resolve these persistent connection and game-starting errors would be greatly appreciated.
