The MMR system of this game is just dumb. It aggressively tries to keep you at ~50% win rate even if you haven’t ranked yet. They do it on purpose to increase played-time because that’s what the Executives told them to do in order to please the Shareholders.
It’s not that it’s only warlocks: it’s that YOU get warlocks (others get other “nothing but ”). It’s not direct rigging of the opponent class but a side-effect of yo-yoing your MMR to make you lose if you happened to not be “~50%WR enough yet”.

The new Warlock deck with the endless portal of upgrading demons is one of the funnest I’ve played in a long time.
I’d love to not play against 45% mage and 15% control warrior, can I get your match ups?

I’m curious as to what rank you are in. I have not played against a warlock all night.
When I’m playing mage, only hunters appear to face me, when I switch classes to DK, aiming to obliterate any hunter, they never come!
Weak people play between 1 am and 3 am.
Warlock is not a top tier deck. Has to be gold. You may see a player playing it in plat, but diamond up, no dice.
That’s what I figured, because in Legend I’ve only faced maybe 4 in the last few days.
They don’t match by rank but by MMR. If you are rank chicken 10 and you had high MMR last month you will get high MMR opponents
Theoretically it’s possible they match by opponent class too but I doubt it because the third parties would expose them against it.
What the OP sees is most probably a side effect of the MMR that is close to the “fair MMR”. Basically people there were locks.
