Would you quit the game if Blizzard offered a full $ refund?

I am at the point where the only thing keeping me here is my collection.

Ah this is one of those Vegas casino situations were they give you your money but you still come next day and spend it all over again.
But to answer your question more politely I would kind of lean towards refund, only because I did spend some cash during my greenhorn days.

Why would they? You’ve already spent the money. That’s like going to a hotel every month, booking a room, spending the entire night, checking out in the morning, then, after a year, telling the hotelier that you’re never coming here again, so you should get a refund of all past stays.

I dont think so…

Nope I won’t quit. I only spent $30 so far. My fun is for free.

I would keep playing. If I were to quit it’d be from something else.

If the only thing keeping you here is your collection, you should probably move on to something else. The sunken cost effect is a terrible reason to stick with anything, particularly something like a game that’s supposed to be fun.

As to whether I would… probably not? I’d still take the refund when I eventually quit though.

I’m not rich so I’m pretty sure I’d have a hard time turning down the cash I’ve put in this game over the years

If time travel was real, I would make a note of how much I spent on this game and spend my cash again more wisely.

refund or not…if i endured enough bs i’am out + they would get negative promotion from me(which is already the case)…i’am on this thin thread of about to leave and i’am not the type of player that come back once left

i discarded WoW already and no amount of “generous offer” would make me go back “here we fixed every issues we want you back !” which is the most fail way to lure me back

to get me back they would have to
1.fix every problem
2.give me ALL CONTENT for collectible i missed on because they made me feel force to quit(just 1/3 of collectible i pass)…offer 85% of the collectible i may consider the offer…and must INCLUDE the limited time stuff too in the appeal offer)
3.some way to recover lost friends(technicly cant do anything if said friend refuse to ever do business with acti again)

but ya…anyway Phantasy Star Online 2 is waiting me to go back…HS only ever been a bored time killer for me…and the game is WAY too costy for a mere card game…which is going downhill right now

oh and activision surveys are so trollish

"oh your back ? what does the experience feel like ? " me uhh…barely up to date with stuff on going and have to provide feedback…while not yet aware of the issues…answer everything is ok…not great but not bad…

me later on…this stuff is bs…this stuff has no way to get done faster…screw the grind…proceed to quit

that survey was sent to me about a year ago after being back for only 2 months

so ya…quitting is likely gonna occur…i’am patient but when things get pass the point of recovery buh bye…i give them about 4 more months …if they haven’t fix things by then…they be drowning in negative feedbacks + customer lost…i think i’am not the only 1 on the verge of quitting…

we had wc3 fiasco…D4 immortal fiasco…WoW fiasco…
i heard some negative change about Diablo 3…
heartstone going downhill
Diablo 2…great graphic rehaul BUT they had to mess with characters appearence and clothes + ugly faces

my guess is they haven’t learnt a full lesson seeing where Diablo 2 is going
so my guess there still room to go downhill further untill they fully learn
so heartstone doom rate is…umm…97% ?

Loving the game too much  I’m here to stay!

I believe that would be enough to convince me that the game has run its course for me. I’ve had tons of fun and I don’t regret spending the money, but that would be a good incentive to go experience something new and give me more than enough to do so.

Do you know how business works? It’s become increasingly shocking these days as more youthful adults have no clear understanding of money or business. As your lawyer I advise you to go get an internship with a successful business and come back and talk to us in 10 years. You still have much to learn little peon.

Remove all limited time purchases and keep them permanent.

Just by reading this thread I see a lot of, “if Blizzard gave…” they already give you kids enough as it is. You stay you stay you leave you leave. That’s it. Blizzard games are all released in beta form. If people can’t figure that out by now, I feel bad for them. As long as the game launches and is directly playable then you kiddies aren’t entitled to squat! “No king rules forever my son” and no game last forever. All empires come crashing down but damn there’s a lot of negative Nancy’s on this thread that want freebies and hand outs. Go get real jobs!!!

Maybe. I could buy a good bottle of rum w/ the money and sail to an island off the coast and drink it.

You’re locked in because of your investment and now that the game is a little sour you want a full refund

nice try

Your collection is not keeping you in HS its the other players because if the volume of players dropped you wont hesitate to jump off the wagon.

say I'm wrong

the game will turn around and everything will be fine. YOu’ll regret a sudden choice to sell when they correct some mistakes. Popular games slide alittle then return… tthis is normal

Yeah, sunk cost is hard to let go. Obviously the scenario you presented never gonna happen, but if it were to happen who’s gonna say no to money?

Where are you seeing all that? What are you talking about?

You are top 10 on the ladder in the whole region. You really can bear to leave despite your achievements?
