Sorry for telling this but i’m gonna be fast about why the last patch is in fact the worse patch in the year.
Reason
This is basically because the new expansion will flop if the actual cards aren’t nerf. Anyone believing any BS told on the patch notes can in fact consider itself naive at minimal and dumb at worse.
No one is caring about the “big swingy turns”.
Result
There are exactly 2 metagame viable decks and one is dead the instant the renathal event is over.
In other words:
The reason for the patch is dubious at best and the result is atrocious. If you still insist in defending this for whatever reason you’re now part of the problem with this game.
Defending it lol, from what i see most people are displeased with this patch but by the total opposite reason.
They think Blizzard didnt go hard enough on the balance changes.
So what should the devs do?
Listen to you the small minority that thinks they went too far or listen to the other side of the coin that thinks they didnt do enough???
I think that, as a society, we need to be careful about hypocrisy shaming. Someone who preaches right and does wrong is better than someone who preaches wrong and does wrong. I’m not saying that motivating further improvement should be all carrot and no stick, but we want to be careful not to stick them out of preaching right.
I don’t know if you saw my edit, but my distaste for it is the lack of it trying to do anything offensive. It just sits there and does nothing, hoping you will just go away.
Another deck I hate. It’s so binary and one dimensional. You get your cards or you don’t and the game is solved very fast.
But that’s where you really find out who is good at the game! If you can do better than 50/50 in mirrors you’re really cooking. I don’t feel like I’ve really got the hang of a deck until I start winning most of the mirrors.
