Yesterday morning and even into the afternoon, I was playing intermittently on both my phone AND my PC, until evening came and I was met upon launching the game on either device that I was offline but could still browse my collection in offline mode.
I had (and still have) full bar connectivity on both devices with a strong connection able to perform ANY other task, including bandwidth monsters I tested with after the fact.
My phone is a Samsung device is unrelated to my PC, the only time I even connect the two is when I charge my phone.
My PC is connected directly with an ethernet cable, wi-fi on the phone, I’ve restarted the router several times, took a suggestion of flushing the DNS on my computer, restarted as well as a proper shut-down on both devices, and so on and so forth. Hell, I even did a scan & repair on the Bnet launcher on the PC, followed by a complete re-install on both devices! Even virus and malicious software scans on both revealed nothing. Not that I’m sure why there’d be such a thing to disable my ability to play a singular game and not target anything else but I refused to even have a shred of doubt.
I can play any other game, including other battlenet stuff (World of Warcraft no issues whatsoever, for example), I’ve checked internet speed tests and they’re all what they normally sit at for playing Hearthstone (and everything else, for that matter).
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills because nothing makes sense and it’s extremely frustrating because I haven’t come across ANY other recent posts that line up with my specific experience.
I have no idea what to do and am not terribly tech-savvy so the various lingo one might be tempted to use just…well, you may as well be speaking another language entirely.
If there’s any other information I should provide, I’d love to hear it because I’m just kind of hands-tied outside of doing all the stuff I was told to do in the past for various OTHER kinds of technical issues, game-related or not.
Also, I’ve had the tiniest, sub-minute long windows, only a handful of them though, where things SEEMED to be alright but then as soon as I tried to launch a game mode (Tavern Brawl, Battlegrounds, whatever), it would just hang until I was given the “you don’t have an internet connection” window again.
