This goes out to the devs and the people who keep saying “If YoU wAnT tO wIn JuSt PlAy PaLly AnD sToP cRyInG!”
Broken decks like this make people angry because there really are a lot of fun cards to play in the new expansion. All the new quests…the kindred mechanic…new combos, new card interactions, new, new, new. But a broken strong deck like this means we don’t get to do any of it. It’s Christmas morning, we got to open all our presents and then promptly had them all taken away. There’s enough static for this that I’m sure they’ll fix it. I think most people know that, it’s just irritating that it’s taken this long.

Spent all my gold on packs since nothing else TO use it on (seriously, not even any BG portraits? I HAVE to buy runestones to get those?), got the signature card for the pally quest. I played like 6 or 7 games and I feel GROSS. I don’t care about the curvature of win rates as you climb ladder; I just want to have FUN playing this game.
Y’know what’s not fun? Having the single most predictable gameplay pattern in a deck I’ve ever had the (dis)pleasure of using. I’ve never reached Legend in Standard or Wild because I play for FUN and, unfortunately, “Casual” Mode is literally anything but casual. They are the same sort of sweaty meta-slaves that run the high-legend leaderboards.
I haven’t been able to play a kooky deck with a silly premise in YEARS because there’s no way to play anything outside of a very one-dimensional path that the designers have envisioned. Try to do something that isn’t hyper-efficient? Steamrolled. Try to have a 'heck yes, we made it work!" moment? You’ll be forced to play against Blizzard-run bots because you’ve had to lose 20+ games in a row before you’re allowed to maybe have a chance with it.
Winning in itself can be fun, sure, but it loses its zing WELL before you reach any satisfying goal with the means to victory above all else.
Quest Paladin, as it stands, is oppressive, boring, and KILLS any creative drive for those of us who don’t treat this game like a job.

It’s Blizzard…well Microsoft at this point. They don’t care two sh!ts about you at all. Unless you are spending literally thousands of dollars, nothing you say matters.
From the moment this game started, everything is based on RNG. Their programmers have shown they have ZERO ability to actually come up with anything that requires skill.
Diablo the most beloved brand of blizzard, D4 has some of the worst player counts in history, and Diablo Immortal in bed with the Chinese where it’s your wallet that matters not skill.
Like you all literally think this company is what it was years ago? hahahaha

I like how the community keeps coming up with new reasons why they hate Quest Paladin, and all of them to avoid saying you want to play control but control isn’t meta. Get over it, there’s been metas were aggro or midrage were crap. Sorry you got used to control being the best for years now.
The answer to this post is very simple: Blizzard doesn’t care about people, it doesn’t matter if you’re frustrated, just give them money, just give them time. The fact that a superior deck exists is in their favor. Those who don’t have it will shell out money to get it, and those who do have it will have a few more victories that, in some rare cases, will take them to Legendary status (because Blizzard has to declare that someone gets there, otherwise you’ll understand the whole scam strategy and stop giving money).

I hate the bottom feeders who exploit it even more. It’s busted thanks to these F-tier devs who keep managing to avoid the axe like they’re an endangered species or something. But anyone playing this deck deserves to be roped every single turn by every other member of the community

For me its pure dissapointment… You log to game to face 20 murloc pala for 21 games and u lost every beacuse blizzard empolyees are blind af. U had PTR, u had information and u literally did nothing about it. Even totally blind person can see that summoning infinity murlocks every turn is unbalanced. Only possibile way u can nerf it is to play atlesat 8 or 9 murlocks. Its will be still unbalanced but maybe atleast playable. I play the game since alpha and it was never in such a bad spot. U can put your grandpa to grind your rating cuz decks are so thinkless she easymake it to legend… wake up Blizzard

Got it somehow not playing control is exploiting. Just inventing new definitions for exploit here.
It’s not like any other aggro deck though is it? And it can hang with any control deck out there if it doesn’t flat out kill it in less than five turns. It’s basically rock paper and scissors all in one deck

It’s not aggro its midrange, actual aggro decks win against it. Midrange beats control, control beats aggro, aggro beats midrange.
You’re trying to say that this deck doesn’t routinely win games before turn 5? Because to me that’s an aggro deck. But the stupid quest allows it to go 10 rounds with pretty much anything out there

Every expansion… “OMG this deck is OP”.
Yep, that’s what always happens. Wait for the nerfs.
Remember when Zergs came out and they were OP? Because the card that buffed Zergs gave them attack AND and health? Aggro is supposed to generate wide boards, but they’re supposed to be vulnerable to AoE.
Yeah, the devs really should balance cards better before they release them, but they don’t. That’s what the beta-testers are there for (that’s us players, BTW).
Same story, every expansion.

Blizzard really needs to stop making cards like the Paladin quest, it’s absolutely braindead of a deck, there’s always one class per expansion/Year, that get these brain dead cards, it kills a part of me when I see quest paladin thinking which murloc shall I play next, there is no thought needed for that deck, and I am not hating on the players that play the quest it’s not their fault, it’s Team5, for designing such dribble, over and over again. Last expansion it was imbue Druid, and then it was dragon druid, and before that some other class that I cannot remember atm.

the card was nerfed ,but not really enough to make it a fair deck i suppose…
