Why is wailing vapor a 1/3

Mana Wyrm was weekend by one health because it was to powerful and then blizzard make the same card for Shaman.

I really wish I understood blizzard thinking, they know this card going to be a strong one drop but they ignore their past mistakes.

As much as I like this game, I just had 2 wailing vapor drop and by turn 4 I was at 10 health. Shaman may of been in a bad place before the mini-set, but instead of balancing they just went over the top.

to make it more sticky

with less than 3 is easy to remove

If you think it’s on the same power level as mana wyrm, you’re just a salty fool lol.

The game development people just improve old features of the cards. Have you never noticed?!

the idea is that you give good cards that can rotate out

The most rational reason would be the fact that Wailing Vapor needs a specific minion tribe to get the buff, whereas Mana Wyrm just needs spells. This means that Wailing Vapor only shines in a small amount of decks, mainly aggro decks with a lot of elementals. Mana Wyrm was easily used in a wide variety of decks, because spells were also used in almost every deck.
