Why is there "Casual Mode"?

Casual Mode feels incredibly stupid to me.

Why does it say that Casual and Wild are the same, EXCEPT Casual can use “Classic (!!!)” cards!!! What are Classic cards!!! I don’t see them in the Collection Manager. All I see is Core, Standard, Wild, Twist, New, and Legacy. Seriously? What are Classic Cards??? It says Casual Mode uses them, and that alone makes it different than Wild Mode. So what are Classic Cards now in Hearthstone? Wasn’t Classic Mode removed?? Seriously?? What are Classic Cards now?

In all honesty, wouldn’t it just be better for EVERYONE if Casual Mode was just Classic Mode since people love Classics and Classic Mode feels like the actual accreditation of this game to its roots to show that it matters where it started and IT MATTERS where people and ideas come from? Let’s just be nice. Here, Hearthstone developers. Why don’t you say something this time?

Classic cards are what came from classic packs, something the devs scammed people into buying because they made people think the mode was going to be around. Like they scammed people with those three mega mercstone pre order bundles. See the pattern, for those thinking of investing too much into twist?

Now they really want to stress that classic can be used in other places, so they can’t be hit with a fraud lawsuit. And for those claiming they can’t…seems odd they are trying to stress all those classic packs they pushed aren’t useless since that fake hate campaign they stirred up (like the fake “YOU WANT THE GAME TO MOVE TO A SUB MODEL!” nonsense they’re pushing now) before they killed the mode.

They should bring back classic, leave casual alone, and create a new mode called “gimmick” where they can dump all the insane nonsense they want to push (COUGH anomalies COUGH COUGH illegal casino mode COUGH) and leave the normal game for the rest of the people who want to enjoy it.

In fact, they can charge a premium access for “gimmick” since all those people who enjoy it so much and don’t mind the predatory monetization can subsidize all of that stuff they love so much.
