Why is blizzard so bad at making cards for aggro decks?

Out of all the card games I’ve played, ptcgo/magic/yugioh, hearthstone has to be the laziest when it comes to aggro decks. They are all the same in every standard that’s been consistent throughout the entirety of the game. Not a single instance of, “oh wow that’s an interesting deck has went through my mind when playing against one.”

For a game that lacks a deck size above 30 for the most part, at least put some effort into the game, instead of mashing cards with, “discover, or discover, oh and discover, or resurrect, oh and my favorite, cast X spells RANDOMLY” and call it a day.

This has to be the laziest development of a card game I’ve ever seen, aside keeping the game static with some sort of skill, the major winrate decks are aggro which are extremely dull to play with and boring to play against, the control decks have insane amounts of randomness that can backfire.

I mean you even nerf a legendary that should be baseline to the games health because the player doesn’t control the economy like you do in magic with lands or energy in ptcg.

At least expand the health pool if you can’t develop anything past, X random for everything.

I play mostly control decks btw, because playing aggro in this game makes red goblin aggro in magic look fun in comparison. What happened to quality with this game?

So much agree with almost this entire post

ehh why do you call cards with those effects “aggro cards”?

aggro deck run stuff that summon tokens or buff minions cast spells randomly isnt an effect ive seen on aggro decks

didnt you notice the less rng an aggro deck has the better it becomes ?

Wait, since when aggro decks run value cards that discover? Are you sure you have understood which decks are aggro? Or is aggro for you any deck that plays cards on turn 2.
