That’s how this game was in the very beginning — trust me, I’m a Classic connoiseur (probably one of the top ones when the mode was a thing; not so much in 2014, when I was still building up a collection, playing ‘beginner’ decks and so on). If I were to pick one card as the epitome of the original ‘meta’, that’d be Leeroy Jenkins — making a return for the 10-year anniversary, by the way.

No… and no.

Leeroy was nerfed for being ubiquitous (check the official patch notes, I think I’ve posted the excerpt somewhere on these forums, too), and there wasn’t such a deck, really, which doesn’t mean Leeroy wasn’t an addition there, too, with Shadowsteeping it as an option.

Even one counterexample, i.e. one person caring, disproves your statement (that’s the basics of logic — I’ve gotta point this out, since even elementary school education seems to be lacking on these forums in general, no offence to anyone for whom such matters are obvious), so for the sake of pedantry I’d ask you to not overgeneralise like that. ‘Hardly anyone cares’ or something like it — that’d do it, calling somebody a ‘nobody’ just like that, however, — wouldn’t.
