And i would never say Brode is a scion of balance, the expansion i dislike the most on this games history is Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.
The damage it did to the games balance for years is legendary.
The last expansion he worked on was the Witchwood and we all know how Gen and Baku did wonders for balance as well.
Regardless thats not what was at stake above, Mall was right and the so often witch hunt was at play.
Ben did talk about the balance of 9 being broken over adding a new class,i know it was 10 years ago but you cant fault a man for having a good memory.
And more like i said above i also thought Ben was wrong when be made those claims many years ago.
That was until i saw what Demon Hunter did to the game, that for me marks the lowest point in this games history.

Exactly. Agree or not, that was what was said, and it wasn’t just Brode who felt that way.
I wish I had a dollar for every time someone here has called me a liar, only to be proven wrong.

As someone who liked monk (healer) class back in the days of MoP I’d really vote for having it in HS but we’ll probably get WW (some huge attacks with minions and/or hero power) or brewmaster because brew theme is so easy to build class fantasy around.

I don’t know that We will ever get anything. I think MS intends to ride the game into the ground. At some point they will just maintenance mode it, or end it entirely.
Opinion of course, but they have already cut manpower to a fraction of what it was in HS salad days.

And I do not think adding Demon Hunter was a reason for imblanace in HS. Au contraire, it was an outcome of imbalance and Team 5 philosophy of explosive card combinations, the philosophy that is in full display 7 years on.

I try not to think about it, better to pretend it never came to be.
But to each its own, what to me looks like a pit of darkness coiling its gruesome fingers around the remnants of what was once good and true in this game might appear different to others.

I think this game is done for in the not too distant future.
MS wants to cash in on the handheld P2W market, and this game will not readily adapt to that.
Nowhere in there is the “trinity” Mal cites stated. 12 is still closer to 9 than 20 as well…
