Why does the game have to crash as part of start up?

as i said, every crash is a new topic so yeah. two crashes in minutes of each other cause HS has to crash to function.

Are you playing on mobile or pc because i rarely ever get any crashes. Maybe its just your device that only barely can run hearthstone?

See if you run out of RAM, or if you have a hardware issue. The game does not normally crash every time.

I play on ipad and i get random crashes EVERY time i play.

It may be 5 mins or 10 mins but its going to happen.

Only app running. I can rejoin my game but it really sucks depending on where i am in the game.

It must be those tenthousand Zerg DK netdeckers who start the game every minute that crashes the network.

It might be the ipad then, i mostly play on pc but recently also on mobile sometimes but i cant say i ever experience crashes.

So it might just be a case of it running badly on apple stuff, you hear that often that apple and linux too are not really the best things to play games on

Interesting.

Just tonight, 4 hours ago, when I was trying to open the game, it crashed twice before finally working.

Laptop, old, but maybe not a coincidence

This shizz happens on PC, too. Random disconnects for no reason. I pay for very fast internet and my pc is no slouch. It ain’t me, its blizzard and their garage level programming.

All online games have extremely low networking needs during gameplay (e.g. only 10KBps max up/down). You’re thinking of the game engine being congested by other things or being bugged, e.g. when too many animations are spammed at the same time.

PS A typical cause for a crash that does not have a warning is to just run out of RAM or it could be a GPU drivers bug or game engine bug but those usually come with an error window on PCs. If it’s a literal hardware fault then the machine/OS itself may crash.

idk it might be a regional problem then, i have absolutely no issues with disconnecting for ages
