I always believed that vampires were the undead,so why have they not been given the undead type?Am I missing something or have the devs overlooked this?

good question. My guess is that since they don’t look like zombies or skeletons, Blizzard doesn’t treat them as undead.
Perhaps because they didn’t die and then were raised by necromantic ways? I don’t know how someone turns into a vampire in WoW, but it could be they don’t technically die when being turned into a vampire. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, because I really don’t know.
they do de first. blood magic just keeps them preserved in better state than regular necromancer magic.

I mean, you could brush up on the lore. It’s a bit telling that you know little of the background of the characters of the company you so vehemently defend.

They didn’t program you with any knowledge of the game’s lore, or the ability to look up the game’s wiki.

so far the only vampire is murlocula and he was given the dual tag murloc /undead which contradicts OP about him not getting the tag
since no cards were named there is no way for me to know if HS has more vampires who didnt get the undead tag

A quick google search shows me that the vampyr from wow are indeed, meant to be undead.

the venthyrs arent vampires they arent undead on WOW either dont know much about them but
the first few were created by sire
new venthyrs are born when a soul chooses to become one after atoning (i think they need the help of a venthyr to do it )
Ah, I don’t know enough wow lore. I didn’t realize that vampyr and venthyr were different. I guess that explains it then.
