I just want to start by saying I don’t normally make threads like this.
Why are murlocs better than demons and dragons?
In WoW murlocs aren’t so powerful, so why are they in Hearthstone?
Almost nobody plays dragons, even though in the lore they are so strong.
Sometimes I wonder about the devs, and their thought process when it comes to this game.

Metas & balance aside, lore is good for coming up with design and flavour. But it shouldn’t be used as some hierarchy of power. There’s no fun in that. Ignoring that though…
Hearthstone has been pretty “anything goes” for most if not all of its history. It’s definitely not afraid to have a sillier warcraft either. Murlocs being more powerful than the latter two tribes is pretty on-brand.
Dragons being non-viable isn’t fun.
Murlocs being stronger than (or just as strong as) dragons and dragons being viable are not mutually exclusive.
Dragons never had a 3 mana clear your opponent’s board combo.
Reason: Tier 5 and Tier 6 dragons suck big time, especially that T5 dragon get battlecry 1 mini dragon for +5 attack or the T5 dragon that only buffs in battle field, and the T6 dragons (1 needs an extra space to cycle battlecry minions, the other is not a dragon).
Versus. Tier 5 and Tier 6 Murlocs all work great.
Damn, that kush must be fire, pass the loud cuz.
