Mass Hysteria overrides attack limitations, that’s why. It’s why minions who already used up their attack can still attack again, and why minions who cannot attack (either because they have no attack or because of their card text) still do.
You do. You not liking the answer is your problem, not ours.
Blizzard typically uses words on cards in a consistent way. “Force to attack” has been used on more cards (e.g. misdirection), and always to mean that the forced attack can override the normal attack rules.
If you manage to get a 0-attack minion to attack your opponent’s face on your turn, then you should see that Misdirection triggers and redirects the attack. If not, then please file a bug report (with screenshot or hsreplay link).
I never tried to, nor see I any reason to.
The point I made above, and that you appear to miss totally, is that “force to attack” on any Hearthstone card implies that normal rules on attacking no longer apply. In the case of Misdirection, it negates the normal rules that you cannot attack your own minions, cannot attack stealthed minions, cannot attack your own face, and that you cannot byoass taunts.
“Force to attack” means that normal attack restrictions do not apply. It does not mean that normal attack restrictions do not apply except a single arbitrarily chosen one.
You are purposely misunderstanding. It’s okay if you do lot like the mechanic. Just state that. Don’t be rude to people to try to make a point. People were trying to help you. You are making the community more toxic by pretending to not understand.
Because, as mentioned before, I see no reason to.
I am not the one claiming that Mass Hysteria is inconsistent. You are,
I am not the one claiming that “force to attack” should be able to bypass target selection rules, should be able to bypass attack restrictions such as a “Can’t Attack” text or being frozen, but should somehow NOT bypass attack restriction based on attack value. You are.
And finally, I am not the one selectively quoting a single sentence out of a post while deliberately ignoring all the arguments in the rest of the post. Again, you are.
But frankly, I don’t care. I am fine with Mass Hysteria as it is. I like the card, and I especially like how consistent the effect was implemented.
You are the one claiming that is is NOT consistent. If you fail to deliver any argument or evidence of said claim of inconsistency, then odds are that Blizzard will not agree with you, and not change it. Which as stated before is fine with me.
So please, don’t provide any evidence. Please just continue to make claims without substance. I won’t bother you anymore.
