Where are my missing cards?

I’ve lost a bunch of cards that I knew I had. Not given to me, but bought.
I’ve checked and they are not in wild.

And why do you red out the cards instead of turning the deck into wild like you used to?

It sounds like you’re referring to Death Knight cards. They are “red out” because they don’t meet the Rune requirements of your deck. If you change this, the cards that are “red out” & those which aren’t will change.

You didn’t lose anything.

I think it’s more likely that this is another person who’s been confused by the way Blizzard handled the Knights of the Frozen Throne cards when they took them out of the core set. The deck builder doesn’t recognize the core cards as the same thing as the wild counterpart, so some decks made during the month KotFT was back in standard got really strange after the rotation. That’s why they didn’t automatically revert to wild, it’s because the cards aren’t the same.

But the cards would be simply gone; not “redded out”.

I had one deck that I made which included a KotFT card when they rotated out of Core. It showed the missing card as red even though I had the original KotFT card in my collection as well. I had to take the no-longer-existing core card out and replace it with the KotFT card. If it had just been missing, I wouldn’t have known what card it was to replace it with.

No. They are gone… as in searching for them in collection (yes, wild too) shows them as not part of my collection and blue as in able to craft.

Have you submitted a ticket to support yet? I think they can tell whether you ever owned a card or not, but I also think they’re pretty slow to respond.
